More than a meal, this place delivers an experience. The wall murals, menus, drink and food names are fun and we're given a lot of creativity and detail. They played great music, 90s songs everyone knew and loved! Service was 10/10 we had a big group and our waitress was friendly, patient and did a great job explaining the menu and giving great recommendations. Food was great, you can get a regular taco but this is not that place, try something different everything was delicious. Will be back for sure!
Kid-friendliness: Kids were present having a great time
Wheelchair accessibility: Ramp access in/out of building. One level inside the restaurant, no steps. Individual bathroom.

Ive been going here for years with my Fiancé and our families. The food is absolutely delicious, and totally unique. The staff is fun and welcoming, and the drinks are always top notch. Lots of awesome Margarita choices!
They have recently expanded their menu to include an even larger variety of options, particularly vegetarian friendly ones! To the staff: Thanks for the hard work!.
Great restaurant, great people, incredible food.

Food was okay, nothing really to brag about. And definitely not worth 6$ a taco. We spent 40$ on 3 tacos, a side of rice, and two soft drinks. And there was no wow Factor.

My husband and I come here often! This is probably one of our favorite restaurants that we’ve ever tried!! Food is always outstanding and fresh. Their new menu offers a variety of unique, unbelievably delicious tacos. The atmosphere is also so cool! Whoever is in charge of the artwork on the walls/menus is so incredibly talented!! My husband and I recommend this restaurant to all of our family and friends. Go to Zaps!! You will not be disappointed!

I've tried nearly every taco on the menu, and each one is standout fantastic. Really unique flavors. While "craft tacos" (for lack of a better phrase) are common in the city, it's rare to have such unique and flavorful and inventive food out in the suburbs. Every single one of the tacos could be a menu-highlight drawing people from nearby areas.

Nice atmosphere and pleasant server & staff. Tacos were just average despite their cute names.

Ordered two steak tacos and a
Beer. Got two small flimsy tasteless things I guess they call tacos and a bill for $23. Ridiculous. I will never come here again.

Our food had fabulous flavor, and my tacos were stuffed with meat!
I did order my tacos with corn tortillas, and they came with flour, which ended up being excellent, I didn't feel like sending them back, and I'm glad I didn't, they ended up being the best flour tortillas I've had.
Con - the "mini" slice of avocado 🥑 on the one tacos was way to mini for what I was expecting. The picture doesn't lie.

You know what, it’s good to have a local taco place but for $5 a taco I’ll take the 15 minute drive to Joliet for some real tacos, one person here called them white people tacos and he really hit it on the dot, I tried a few of them and they weren’t too bad but definitely not worth the price, I also got the margarita which could be drank in 3 sips, like at least give us not child sized cups lol. The corn had to be the biggest offender of them all, you get a small salsa cup sized corn for like $5, i literally finished it in like 3 bites, like come on, it’s corn, give me the full ear at least! Service and atmosphere were 5 stars but those prices definitely need a tweak!
