I tried the Tomato Jam Danish today and it was such a delight! The pastry was light and flaky, the cream was not too sweet, the tomato jam not overly savory, with a perfectly balanced dusting of lemon zest. It’s only a shame I don’t live in Davenport - I would eat this pastry every day, if I could! The staff and space were equally as lovely! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
I really don't have an opinion about this place other than I went looking for a blueberry scone this morning and ended up going to 5 places and still no scone. They had some jalapeno, cheese scone? What is that?
This is my favorite place!!
Everything is so good and intentional and it’s a true QC gem.
The dine in food was delicious and the bread was absolutely perfect. I'd come early for a better selection of baked goods.

SOURDOUGH! That's all you really need to know, REAL great sourdough bread. I grew up and spent most of my life in the San Francisco Bay Area and I LOVE sourdough bread. Especially sourdough baguettes, with a crisp crust and moist, chewy interior. Sourdough of ANY type is nearly impossible to find in the Quad Cities and great sourdough is basically non-existent UNTIL you discover Blue Spruce General Store. Their sourdough can compete with Acme Bread in Berkeley and Boudin in San Francisco! I wish they were open more days of the week. SIX STARS!

Amazing breakfast pastries!
I am very happy this place is so well placed. I slightly wish it was larger, but maybe we give them enough business, right QC?!:)

My friend recommended this place and I have absolutely no regrets. I got the ham and manchego sandwich today and it was the best sandwich I’ve had in years. Excited for the cake I ordered for next weekend!

We absolutely love this store - their bread is spectacular, and we love their sandwiches. They put so much attention and care into their food, and you can taste it! The staff are wonderful - always quick with a smile, and they do the little things right. My toddler was fussing, and unprompted, they gave him some goldfish crackers - saved the day! We have tried almost everything over there - cake, cookies, all the different sandwiches, salads, the different soups, and breads and everything has exceeded expectations! We haven’t found anything we don’t like! Great shop with a great staff! We’re thankful to have this kind of shop in town.
Vegetarian options: They have a vegetarian sandwich as well as a caprese sandwich. Salads are veggie and the soup is often vegetarian.
Kid-friendliness: They have high chairs and are very sweet to kids!
Wheelchair accessibility: You can enter through the back entrance with wheelchairs.

have had lunch there once or twice and today tried the caramel gochujang cookie and persimmon orange scone. also bought the same for my boss. we both loved the scone probably the best texture on a scone I've ever had locally and it was a pleasant light taste from fresh zest vs extracts. the cookie, was pleasant at first and then it slowly grew with heat that made it just delightful.
Bread seems good. Lunch overpriced and overrated. Chairs wobbly. Avoid Detroit bbq chips taste like chili powder.

The sweet pastries are delicious but do not sleep on the savory items! Every single savory pastry I have ever had is a 20/10! There is nothing better than their salty, cheesy pastry items!!! Fun selection of drinks, snacks and chocolate! I love the prepared foods, soups and cheeses!
