I came out of town with hugeee expectations I went yesterday around 9 pm with my sister and the restaurant was empty so I was expecting somewhat of a quick service but when we were sat down and ordered our drinks we received them 15-20 minutes later and then our food also took about 20-25 mins after that and we received no sauces and no napkins and were not checked up on during our time there until we were ready to cash out for a bill. Im not going to lie I will probably not go back there ever again!!!

No. I don't believe in pushy tips for takeout. The order was already over 100. The counter is so high you can't see the screen. And then they hustle you to get it done. Just sign here verbal prompt. It's defaulted and you can't see it. I'm tempted to drive there again and take a picture of the counter. That was unreal. They tryna hustle people now. I'm out.

THE REAL TASTE OF CHICAGO!! Rating: 10/10 I ordered the 6 piece wings with fries and coleslaw and a dragon fruit lemonade with tequila. The wings and fries came out piping hot. This place is a LEGIT Harold’s. I grew up in Chicago and this was one of the best 6 pieces I’ve had in a very long time. The drink was 🔥 and everyone there was super nice. It’s super clean inside and the music was lit. I’ll def be back

Quad Citizens, look no further. If you are yearning for a taste of the old school; you need to try Harold's Chicken Sports Bar. Being original from the south, it has been a tough journey to find any type of food that reminds me of my roots. Illinois, don't let this gem be hidden, Best food, right amount of spice, love the lemon seasoning on the okra, and the amount was plentiful. Trust me when I say this, you will feel like home; very excellent staff and mood setting. Overall, don't just read about it, try it for yourself. From one guy to the next that loves good food, check this place out.

Let’s start with the service: 10 stars Our server Altease- was amazing and friendly and very attentive, listening and engaging and executed everything seamlessly. I asked for a recommendation as we had never dined at the establishment before and didn’t know what to order. He had no hesitation, he gave me a recommendation right away and it did not disappoint, I was extremely pleased! (as I have been let down before with trying new things and then they aren’t as good as I was hoping.) this is not the case here!! It was absolutely fabulous! And his service exceeded expectations!
The second person I want to highlight is, Gina, she is nothing short of phenomenal! , she made sure we were well taken care of! As we had never been there before, she shared with us some different sauce samples that exceeded anything I’ve tasted in a long time. Brought us extra bags for our to go and even helped me pack it properly! Not only that, even while engaging in conversation with us she noticed my husband was not feeling 💯 and naturally narrowed in on it(he had pain in his knee that was bothering him) but she picked up on it, and shared some experience and knowledge with us to help him, and for that we’re so grateful! She went above and beyond even when she didn’t have to! She is such a beautiful person! Thank you so much Gina

Food: 10 stars OMG! The freaking food! Holy smokes the food was fabulous! The chicken was hot(temperature wise)and crispy but also totally fall off the bone! It was crazy how tender and crispy it was and absolutely delicious, literally the best fried chicken I’ve ever had in my life! Our server Altease’s recommendation for me I believe was the- lemon pepper chicken basket, and it was so mouthwatering delicious! I haven’t been so impressed on a recommendation before in my life! I’m so ordering it again! No doubt! (Maybe I’ll go back tomorrow cause I’m getting hungry for it just writing this) The fries are normal fries but they were terrific with sauce covering both the fries and the chicken! It was soooo freaking tasty! I also ordered the okra also, which again also delicious! My husband had the plain chicken and gizzards plus catfish, and he had very little left to take home!(if that says anything in itself) he also raved about how delicious it was too!
Now We came in on a whim, (after adult prom, at around 11:30ish pm, but the service we received here had us feeling like we were family, and that we were genuinely cared about! And that is something that not every place has! This was unique and nothing short of magical.
If you want amazing food and more than amazing service, and want to feel like family, then I can’t recommend this place enough! This was our first time here but definitely won’t be our last!
To the chef and kitchen staff: seriously thank you!, thank you for serving us so late, and thank you for the amazing food! (We had to end up canceling our original dinner plans earlier in The evening since we were running late that night to get to our adult prom event and I’m not even remotely disappointed that I didn’t get to eat at our original intended restaurant because you guys came through with such mouthwatering amazing food! , Please keep doing what you’re doing cause it’s absolutely incredible! I can’t wait to try more of your menu!
