Great food, all of it was hot and fresh. Went in a week or so ago. New guy running the front register. Friendly and attentive. Will stop by again when in town

Cheap and yummy. Food is consistent at different locations. Whoever was working the counter this Sunday evening at 1635 on the Ave in Moline was fantastic. Friendly and inviting and she was hustling and working hard. I appreciate the great service!

Wanting to support the most local business, I ordered sandwiches for 50 people the day before the event. Was initially told we could mix 3 different sandwiches (I.e 1/3 Turkey, 1/3 ham, 1/3 Italian). We ordered a separate cheese/veggie sandwich.Right as we were setting up the event, I got a call from HH saying we could only have one sandwich style. I asked if the could just swap out turkey for ham on part of the order—NOPE—there would be a substantial up charge. That surprised me, as how hard is it to slap ham on one side of the bread and turkey on the other—especially for a rather pricey order.Ended up serving Turkey to all guests. For $180 purchase, they could’ve and should’ve been able accommodate my request.Very silly and dismissive service—AND the timing was inconvenient—I had already checked ordering off my list and had MANY other things to think about. Really unnerving to reconfigure the order when I had many other tasks to accomplish at that moment. When we served the sandwiches, the lettuce was brown and slimy—not just slightly—but A LOT SLIMEY. The onions were also past their prime and shouldn’t have been served. The bread was dry and stale. Whoever made that sandwich had poor training and poor judgment. No reasonable person would’ve sent a sandwich with subpar—actually, inedible—ingredients out. I don’t think anyone added lettuce to their sandwich.I was embarrassed to serve our guests substandard food. So much for trying to support local economy. Also, when I called—remember it was a $180 purchase—the person in charge said I need to send my complaint to corporate.Businesses that don’t empower their employees with the power to make decisions (like swapping ham for turkey or partial refund for slimy lettuce and onions and stale bread) don’t rate highly in my book.Next time I need to order for a large number of people, I will definitely not be ordering from Hungry Hobo.

Usually this place is a 5 star rating, the service is always 5 stars. But the bread tastes stale this last visit. Potato was ?

The worst sandwich I ever had. More bread than meat. Supposed to be hot, it was not! Meal was too expensive for what I received. I will not be going back there ever again. Highly disappointed!!

Poor customer service and poor sandwich making stills. If I order a grilled E steak I should not get a grilled F steak.

Good food! Great service! The cheese curds were a bit on the extra crispy side; but the sandwiches were really good! Try the grilled steak! We usually go to the Rock Island location, though. We wish they'd reopen in Muscatine again!!

Not sure how any location is still standing considering all of the bad reviews at every restraunt. Last night was our last night EVER ordering from hobo again! the bread was stale. There was two slices of ham on my #8. The last three times we’ve gone there I’ve asked for extra cheese and recived these very thin slices and NO extra cheese. How does it take 15 minutes to make two king sandwiches with no one else in their.. husband said they were all moseying around. Also received onions on my sandwich that was not wanted and my husband received tomatoes that were not wanted. This place has really gone down hill. Management needs to do better and be more involved. I really recommend everyone to go to jersey mikes instead.. they have the best bread and best sandwiches in my opinion. Moral of the story GO TO JERSEY MIKES. It’s cheaper and tastes better! Hell I’d go to subway over this place now.

Extremely rude. Treated my whole family like we were stupid when we ordered. We are from Texas visiting and were excited to come to Hungry Hobos. We won’t be coming back to this location.

Wow! Ordered a reg hot ham and Swiss with mustard mayo lettuce and light onion. Got my onion put in a cup not added to my sandwich and my sandwich was pouring out every side with mayo and mustard. I literally could not even finish my sandwich because it was so overloaded with condiments. That is just ridiculous ur a sandwich company learn to make a sandwich people can eat without getting covered in condiments. I will not be returning.

I keep giving this place a chance and they screw up everytime. This time i asked for bacon on a sandwich and didnt happen. Also ordered 2 cheddar fries and only received 1. This in not a one time deal. Its EVERY STINKING TIME. They never get anything right and wont own up to their mistakes. Im flat out done with these jokers.
