I came here on a friend's recommendation with 2 other friends. The food was wonderful! I had ginger curry with chicken. They have an amazing assortment of tea so you're not just stuck with green tea and you get a whole pot as well.
Tony is fantastic and kind. I will be back!

Called in a 25 plus takeout order, it was taken by person as I had it written at that moment the day before and was ready exactly when they told me, well packed for easier transport, clearly marked to distribute to folks, had everything as requested. The many kids were delighted as were the adults as always when we enjoy Mekong.
Eggrolls and rangoon were big hit as well as mains (ran the gambit on mains).

Use to go to these place, now they charge 3% if paying with credit card. It is not cool.

We have been enjoying their wonderful, home cooked Vietnamese meal for over 40 years, have never been disappointed in any of them.
To the people who complained about quantity of rice, just ask for more!!

Disappointing experience for the price. The price point for the entrées are $20-$28 but the value of the amount of food (and flavors) that were given is more like $15-$18. For example, I ordered the hot & spicy chicken which came with a one bowl of rice and about a medium size bowl of topping. the spring rolls for $6 was only two very thin fried eggrolls. Also there’s an additional convenience fee of 4% because I used my debit card.
The food flavors are average at best. Quantity is low for what you had to pay for it. Vietnamese flavors are missing fish sauce and more developed spicy flavors.
The atmosphere is clean. The service is OK not talkative. not super friendly yet responsive. No one needed to come fill water so after bringing the food there really wasn’t much attention on our table of six. they were able to give us individual checks which we appreciated.
It’s a white tablecloth dining experience so you’re expecting a little bit of a higher class the food, service and overall dining experience which is not prevalent the evening we came.
Parking is going to be on the street or around the corner of the parking lot however I don’t think it’d be too difficult in downtown Moline unless there’s a big conference going on.
I’d rather have pizza at Tony’s down the road.
Note my rating system:
1 Star: I wouldn't recommend
2 Stars: Didn't hit my standards
3 Stars: Average (nothing special)
4 Stars: Above Average. Would recommend. Still looking for the 5 Star.
5 Stars: Top of their game. Great food. Great service. Would recommend and plan on returning.

Amazing food and great service! Vegetable spring rolls that were so flaky and flavorful! Then I had kimchi egg fried rice with vegetables which had the fermented tastes of kimchi with the various vegetables mixed in so that every bite was a distinct taste sensation! With the attentive staff this was a wonderful experience!

Delicious meal. Vegan choices. Excellent service. Lovely atmosphere. Enjoyed the tiger carving although it seemed to be facing the wall as opposed to the dining room. Definitely returning next time we're in the area!

Let me start off by saying that the food is great! Love it!! But the service is awful and we’ve been coming here for years and it’s never been great. We haven’t ate in the restaurant for awhile but the food takes awhile to get to your table from what I remember. We mostly do takeout and it’s never been a great experience. They always say 30 minutes and I get there late (because I know from experience it won’t be ready), pay for the food and have to wait another 15-30 minutes. Just within the last week we got take out and I called at 5:22pm. They told me 30 minutes and I got there at 5:57 to pick up. My food was not ready until 6:19! If you’re in a rush, do not bother. If anything increase they need to increase their wait times! I will still order, but then you’re not wasting my time.

Waited Ling time for 2 drinks and ordered 2 appetizers. Got drinks and table after us with 3 people got appetizers and dinners before we received anything. WOULD NEVER GO BACK. Over an hour for never getting anything but cocktails
I have been several times and it is my favorite restaurant in the Quad City area. Tonight I had the Captain Beef. Outstanding. There are three separate dishes. The hot plate, the bowl of sticky rice, and the hot Covered dish containing the main ingredients. One can take from the covered dish a bit at a time and everything stays hot. The menu is very extensive. The alcoholic drinks are very fairly priced, and it has the largest selection of hot teas I have seen outside of China Towns. I would put it on a par with one in any major city.
AMAZING! I got the poulet tomato crepe and it was outstanding! The portions are HUGE and we’ll worth the price. Tony is amazing as well!
