My family enjoyed their filet mignon, but I ordered the sirloin with shrimp and I stoppedtrying to eat the steak after a few bites because it was too tough to eat. My steak knife was having a hard time cutting through it, even. When I told the waitress that it was extremely tough she just basically said, " yeah, the filet is better". There was no offer to make it right or offer me anything else, which to me would have been great customer service.I feel like we paid way too much for a steak I couldn't even eat. A sirloin may not be a filet mignon, but it should still be edible.I probably won't be back by choice unless family wants to come here again.

Split the double Catfish dinner and we got the crab cakes. The Catfish was fried nicely and not overly greasy. I do think the breading could have used more seasonings as it was a bit bland. The fish cakes were still a bit wet when served but still very serviceable. The special tarter sauce was much better than the standard sauce served with the catfish.

They know how to make you feel welcomed which seems to be a lost art these days. I wish it were a bit more romantic to do more date nights here, the lighting is a touch too bright and atmosphere a touch too casual to feel like a proper date which is why we don’t come here as often as we otherwise might. Great place to bring guests from out of town, the food is always good.

Still one of my absolute favorite places to go ever since I was a kid and I’m now 30! I’ve tried so many French onion soups around the US and nothing is better than Miss Mamies. I miss the old decor though. It used to look more upscale but the new revamp makes it look business casual. I miss that old school fine dining look. I wish they wouldn’t have changed it.Vegetarian options: They have a lot of options that aren’t just meat or seafoodDietary restrictions: Can be on requestParking: Parking is connected to a Mexican restaurant next door but plenty of parkingWheelchair accessibility: There is a ramp and very easy access for handicap

Wonderful restaurant with a very old-school type of charm. The food is very good, with lots of options from burgers of the economic side to the "beef and reef" for those who want to spend a little more. I ordered the pork loin chops with garlic mashed potatoes and French onion soup. Got an order of crab cakes as an appetizer, which were very tasty! My date and I took a seat at the bar as we waited for our table. A modest selection of beers, wines, and spirits were available. I had the "Bikini Bottom" ale, which was perfect. I'm definitely returning to try the meatloaf!

Excellent service here. Food is very good. Reasonably priced for the quality and amount. Everything has been great. Slowly turning into my go to restaurant when family comes into the QCs. It might get overlooked because we have so many options now. Bit this place is great especially for older family members. Perfect menu. Not overwhelming. High quality food. French onion soup is great too!

I wanted the French Onion soup with spinach salad but thought it was more pricey than a sandwich. I got the Reuben and it was pretty good. It was even better the next day warming it up as leftovers! French fries were surprisingly good as well but asked for extra crispy. I got coleslaw which was good. Kind of pricey for an early dinner with no senior discounts offered. May go again.Parking: Parking lot needs work.
