This place is a diamond 💎 in the rough. The building doesn't look all that, but out of everywhere in the quad cities that I have gone for that Japanese/Asian-American food, this is the best 👌 and we keep coming back!
If you're mindful you can eat for less than 20 with tip, but we order a lot.
They have hot Sake and other alcohol.

been going here for a while now, service usually top tier food always super good. went there a couple times this past month and there’s a new server with a bad attitude and has changed the atmosphere of dining in here. would really like for the original lady to stay serving! this new lady has a bad attitude everytime i come

I have eaten lunch here dozens of times and they always get the sushi perfect. On top of it there miso soup is to die for ❤️❤️.
The prices are amazing for what you are getting.

The food here is amazing but dont get me started on the service. I dont know if this lady just doesn’t like me, or if she doesnt like teenagers. 🤷‍♀️ Everytime i come here alone and get served by her i always get HORRIBLE service, right now ive been waiting 10 minutes for my drink order to be taken. I dont understand the issue or problems but pleasseee get it figured out. The food is too good for you to be playing with the customers like this.

From the outside, Oishii might not look like the kind of place serving up some of the best sushi and hibachi in the QC—but don’t let the exterior fool you. Once that food hits your table, you’ll forget all about first impressions.

The atmosphere inside is definitely a little awkward and quiet, but honestly? Once the sushi arrives, none of that matters. Every bite is packed with fresh flavor, and the quality is consistently top-notch. I highly recommend any of their sushi, but the Peppered Tuna and Spicy Girl Roll are my personal go-tos—they never disappoint.

The hibachi is also full of flavor and comes in generous portions. I usually walk out with leftovers (which somehow taste even better the next day), or I completely clear my plate and regret nothing.

And if you’re more in a noodle mood, get the Yakisoba. It’s my favorite version I’ve had anywhere, and I haven’t been able to find those same flavors replicated at any other spot.

Oishii might not be flashy, but it delivers where it counts. Hidden gem status: confirmed.

I’ve ordered pick up and I’ve ate inside. Never order pick up unless you want to waste your time sitting in the parking lot while they prepare your food when you pull up to the window. Pick up time was at 2:15 and I didn’t get my food until 2:40. Ordered an hour in advance. Food is good but it’s really more of a sit down place.

This place was fabulous! Sushi, Miso Soup, salad, dumplings!! All of it just incredible. Staff are also super sweet.

I ordered the Chef Sushi Special & Miso soup. The sushi cuts were huge and delicious. It wasn't a very trendy atmosphere, but I'd definitely recommend this place if you are want a lot of sushi for $15-$20. Staff were very courteous and prompt. It's right off the avenue, so it's great for a stop off for lunch if you're out running and craving sushi. I'll go back!
