New to the area and wanted to find a bakery similar to one back home with lots of pastry options (Underbrink's for those curious). They didn't have exactly what i was in the mood for.... However, they have a strong looking sugar cookie and donut game. I could have bought a dozen of anything there and been satisfied. I went out of my comfort zone and bought éclairs... Oh. My. Gawd. So good. It wasn't even what I was looking for, but it was amazing. I'm looking forward to my next trip.

I am a little disappointed with Olde Towne’s effort for my wedding. We had them create our wedding cake, brownies, cookies, and petit fours. The wedding cake was great, I have no complaints there. I was disappointed with the cookies and petit fours. We requested a gold stencil design on our cookies, but they actually turned out a very very light yellow that you could barely see. If I were a baker and my clients request wasn’t visible or did not turn out the intended color, I would at least call them to tell them the situation and offer an alternative color to use. Also with the cookies, the stenciling of all of the deigns were ordered were all over the place. A good amount were centered. But too many were WAY off centered, almost off the edge of the cookie. I love Olde Town and we all love them for their cookies, but they dropped the ball on this one. The petit fours were great for the most part, except the white cake ones. Somehow the inside of the “white cake” flavor was Angel food cake despite being labeled white cake on the box and receipt. The texture and flavor were not at all like what we tried at the tasting. Angel food cake wasn’t even available at that time. The white cake we tried at the tasting was a standard white cake with a cake texture, we loved it, not the thick angel food texture that we received. I was really disappointed when I bit into the white cake petit fours and didn’t find what I had sampled.
I’m not angry at my experience, I just think this bakery needs to recheck its quality control processes, especially when it comes to weddings.
They did what they wanted to do with my sons cake didn’t call or email me to be sure that the cake and frosting I wanted was correct they make my sons cake look like a wedding dog cake! I didn’t have time for it to get fixed by them due to having to dive 3 hr to my sons birthday party how would you feel ya I wasn’t happy when I messaged they they wanted to give me a $25 gift card I still haven’t received I wanted whipped icing cuz that’s all my family and I can eat and I asked for blue border they did white border and they did there own cake frosting they even emailed me saying they did what they wanted too do because they know how there cakes are 🤬

I haven't been there for awhile, boy, can the oatmeal,resin cookies can be any thinner? Can't hardly pick'em up because it breaks apart. Nothing special at all.
