Food was amazing and the chef did their job putting on an excellent show. HOWEVER, we were extremely disappointed in how the managerial staff treated one of their young waitresses. This poor girl made a SIMPLE mistake and provided another couple with the wrong check, and the couple paid the incorrect balance. They were obviously upset and received a refund, but refused to pay their actual bill. The manager then hands their unpaid bill to this young waitress IN FRONT OF US and stated “this is your responsibility to pay.” I’ve never felt so bad for somebody, and she was on the verge of tears when we left. That should have absolutely been a private conversation and managed much more professionally than it was. A simple human mistake just cost this girl her tips for the entire night of working because of a mistake.
To the young waitress, we apologize for not stepping in and covering the check so that you didn’t have to suffer. We saw you running around doing your best, and find the treatment by your manager extremely unfair. To the managers of Osaka, get it together and treat your staff fairly.

What's not to love about a hibachi grill? Staff provides a great family atmosphere. They're very friendly and gracious for your business. You get large portions. Most of the food is awesome. I say most because I haven't tried it all. There are so many options, and the best part is that this place is kid friendly. However, they create a show with fire, and you can feel the heat. If you're sensitive, you may want to avoid it. Now, the bad. The restaurant is in desperate need of renovations or upgrades. It looks a bit rundown in some areas, including the entrance. It's pretty much laid out like it was as a Chinese restaurant when I was a kid 30 years ago. The sake is ok, tastes a little watered down. There's a lot to love here, but first impressions go a long way. Keep going in, you'll find the diamond in the rough around the hibachi grills.

Overpriced, gratuity of 18% already added in. So, so service......not a fan.

While I enjoy Hibachi grills, the lighting was slightly too dim for me and hard to see. The restaurant also does compulsory tips on their receipts, but I could not find a sign informing people of that within the building. Other than that, the food is decent and the talents of a Hibachi chef are not to be understated. Overall enjoyable experience.
