Stopped in for lunch on the way home from Galena, we had the whole catfish with fries and the fish and chips! The food and service were both excellent! We will definitely stop there on our next trip through! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
We were seated very quickly and the waitress came out in about 5 minutes, took our drink order, brought it in about 10 but NEVER seen her again. Finally after 30 minutes of waiting we asked for a new server. They moved us to a new server and he was fantastic (wish I could remember his name). We were in town on Saturday from mchenry and decide to try the River house for dinner. My daughter and girlfriend both ordered the beef stroganoff. My girlfriend found a very long blond hair in her beef stroganoff. We told the waitress and she took it away and ordered a new plate. In the mean time it was not pleasant to see.
