Oh my gawd! Absolute perfection at every step. You can hear your sandwich sizzling on the grill (meat, cheese, mushrooms). I think the bun was buttered. The onion rings were the best I ever had, the chocolate shake is out of this world NOTHING like you will see today. The best meal/fast food meal I ever had. [the only bad thing is the kiosk they force you to order from]

This place has changed so much since the last time we were in there, no one takes your order anymore. You have to use a computer yourself and place your own order. Then after your food is cooked they call out your name and you have to come up to the counter and pick it up. We were told the food to be brought out to us after we placed our order I asked the cook at the grill. Last time we were in this restaurant we had menus brought out to our table. We placed our order and then our food was brought to us at the table we were sitting at , it was a very pleasant experience then and nice place to eat with reasonable prices. As said now you use a computer to place the order you have to go back up to the counter to get your food , the portion of your food is smaller than what you received last time we were in there too. Very disappointing place to eat anymore. If I wanted that type of service we’d eat at home we did everything ourselves except cook what we ate. Don’t recommend this place anymore.

Worst experience ever the whole store was dirty no napkins straw wrappers all over had to wait forever for my food and watched three other people come in from the drive thru with other orders wrong! I ordered a bbq bacon double burger and should have had crispy onions and had none We had to go the bathroom to get paper towels to clean our own table completely disgusting and will not be back!!

Growing up, Steak ’n Shake wasn’t just a place to eat—it was an experience. The tall shakes that filled you up before your food even arrived, the crispy, thinner-than-McDonald’s fries, and the amazing waitstaff who made you feel like you’d stepped into a classic diner.
But today, I walked in to be greeted by screens and a “Pick Up Here” sign, where a waitress once laughed from beyond the counter. The menu I used to hold in my hands, filled with all my favorite items, is nowhere in sight.
This was the go-to spot for late-night hangouts, a place to sober up after a night out or grab a meal before a movie. Now, it feels cold, emotionless, and uninviting, its dim lighting reflecting the atmosphere. I don’t know the reasoning behind these changes, but I can’t be the only one who misses what this place used to be. I didn’t just come here for the food—I came for the experience.
Also no turtle shake 😩 thin burger well thinner then usual

Took my family for dinner on a Saturday night and every table was dirty. We asked if they could clean a couple of tables off for the 8 of us and the guy behind the counter said they were busy and would get to it when they have time.

I made the mistake of giving this place another try. The ordering experience was off-putting no waitresses available or even present, my food was cold. The bathrooms were beyond disgusting with no soap. The dining room was so cold I had to eat with my coat on. Couldn't wait to get out of there. I know other people have had better experiences but that was not the case with me. I will not be returning.

Service was all bad the only thing that was good was the hot fries the buns was hard then I went back in to get it replaced and it feels like I got the same sandwich with a whole onion on it just dissatisfied

Roommate ordered delivery. And I two shakes didn't come and the driver never received them. I was really excited for my shake. Have been trying to contact them for close to 20 minutes. No one is answering

The food was great, my old lady is crazy about the place, the only reason why I give service two Stars is that there's no cashiers .it's all self-service kiosks, and that particular day we went they only had the one kiosk that accepted cash and it was down for some reason, it didn't have change or something and we didn't have any card so we didn't eat there so that's my one big complaint. Atmosphere was like any other new place these days cookie cutter package put any other restaurants logo in there and you won't be able to tell the difference.

It's little more than a glorified vending machine. No wait staff or servers. You order on a kiosk, the two people working there make your food in silence while sit in a dead dining area, get bad food (questionable meat, stale rock hard buns, wilted lettuce, green tomatoes, cold fries) and then leave. It's the dystopian tech bro future of diners and it was super depressing. I'm not going back.

Go there often as this is the best Steak ‘n Shake around!! Super clean inside always! Food is always delicious. The lady at the window tonight was super patient as we forgot to things on our order and had to add them when we got to the window. She’s the best!!
