After I had a "not so good" experience with not only my door dasher, but an employee that may have been new or inexperienced, the owner 100% took care of it right away in a professional manner!! He was very friendly and apologized for the mix up.Thank you so much! I will be ordering again ! I'll pick up next time though ;)

Was good to eat here from time to time. But when I called in to ask a simple question, was given to some man, the owner I think. He wouldn't let me get a word in edgewise and clearly was angry that I even called to ask a question. Never did answer my question. I didn't want any argument . Just wanted an answer to my question. He abruptly stopped talking to me in the middle of the call as my wife was bringing in the food to show him. He refunded part of the money, which we didn't ask for. I would have rather had a peaceful conversation with him, and wished he would have just gave me an answer to my question. May not go there anymore. I do love their food though.

This little family-owned gem of a restaurant has been a much-loved Quad-Cities tradition for nearly forty years! The owner, Chris is always present, cheerfully greeting newly-arrived guests and working alongside his polite, professional, and well-groomed employees. Chris' presence and oversight is always evident in the high quality of food and the spotless, nearly-antiseptic condition of the premises. Irregardless of what I order here, I've never been disappointed with the high quality, generous portion sizes and tastiness of their food. All ingredients are of the highest quality and great care and respect is taken in the preparation of the items. There is no better place to enjoy skillfully-prepared Greek "fast food" than Uncle Pete's!

Ordered chili and clerk said they could do it with a few beans. When I got it over half the bowl were the disgusting beans. She even said like 5 or 6. So I took it up and showed the huge stack of beans and she said she did her best. I said well it means I won't come back and left. A loud mouthes man (I assume the owner) followed me out telling "Did you have a problem with the chili". The girl had lied and told him she didn't tell him she could dip it with few beans. He continued yelling that they get many compliments on their chili. I said the lady behind me didn't like hers so she took it for her husband. He said "whatever" and opened his mouth when I said Great Customer Service following me out and yelling AH. Closed my car door and WILL NEVER GO BACK Avoid this place.
