I have been here a few times and always dine in but I decided to go through the drive-thru today for the first time and I sat there at the window waiting for someone to come ask for my order for over 10 minutes. Three of the girls working there passed by and saw me and never said a word or anything.Some type of communication would have been okay with me. I decided to honk after this whole time close to 15 minutes which I didn’t want to do and still no one came and and they saw me! I finally decided to leave after 15 minutes. Mind you I also had a baby with me in the car. I was so upset had to go somewhere else and buy coffee and actually got help there and great service. I would never go back here again and don’t recommend this place to anyone. These girls did not acknowledge me or anything. People working in the customer service environment should not be working here if you’re going to be treating your customers like this. I personally have worked in the customer service environment and I never once treated customers like this. I felt this was racism at the end of the day because what else could have it been. 🚨Moline location

coffee is good, food is delicious if they get your order correct. My food has been delivered incorrectly twice in a row. starting to think it's not a fluke.

Cool atmosphere. Lousy coffee. Let me explain. My wife is a coffee hound and even she couldn’t finish hers. She never throws away coffee. She got an iced coffee with cold foam. Seems simple enough. They use black coffee and weak cold foam. Just didn’t taste good at all. I got the black coffee and mine was as expected.

A few months ago, I visited Princess Bingo and won a free treat. They were out of stock that day, so we came back today to finally use it. I also had a free ice cream card I hadn’t redeemed yet.

When I tried to use both, the staff member I spoke to seemed irritated right from the start. I had my three kids with me and simply asked what ice cream flavors were available, and she said, “We haven’t had ice cream in months,” in a very dismissive tone. I tried to use the free treat instead, but again, they were out.

I completely understand that items run out or menus change—that’s totally fair. But the way the situation was handled felt unnecessarily rude and dismissive. A little kindness would have made a big difference, especially with kids in tow.

Unfortunately, I left my tokens behind as they didn’t feel worth holding onto. I had really hoped to enjoy a coffee while my kids had a treat, but the poor customer service left a bad taste. Not sure we’ll be back, which is a shame.

*Update June 2025: You should not be able to order lunch via drive thru, makes it a painful experience.
My wife and I love this place for lunch and a quick cafe after.
The food is usually pretty tasty (the price is a bit too high), the atmosphere feels like an industrial cafe and bookstore but it definitely works for the place. The service is fine, you order food and drinks you get food and drinks, pretty ideal. This is my place I stop for a mid day Americano to warm and pick me up, my wife prefers the energy drinks. I definitely recommend this place if you are a local or just in the area.

The good: they are open later than most other cafes and coffee shops in the area and they have tables set up for studying (lots of outlets)

The bad: I have yet to find anything on the menu worth the price. All of the food is mediocre at best, I have never enjoyed their coffees, only their energy drinks/flavoured sprite is worth it. They have a selection of baked goods and cheesecake but nothing is that good and it all seems like it was frozen or purchased in mass quantities. Also, they play music at a somewhat loud volume which I do not mind, but whatever service they use to play their music has advertisements. There is nothing more annoying than trying to have a conversation or work on some work and a loud and obnoxious advertisement comes on. Really? Just pay for Spotify premium or something, I am sure they are making enough money to do so.

In conclusion, good place to study in the sense there are a lot of tables and they are open late, but not worth it if you are actually looking for something enjoyable to eat or drink. And they need to fix blaring advertisements over the loudspeakers. It really ruins the environment.

Love grabbing a coffee, or sitting down and eating. Place is easy to do work from, and can't forget the meeting rooms. They are nice when you have a large group, and want to have a more private setting.
