My eggs were perfectly cooked. I judge a breakfast by the eggs and these were over medium perfectly as I expected. The coffee was just the right temperature and had a delicious roasted flavor. We were also pleasantly surprised by the sausage patty as it was freshly pressed and not a frozen pre-formed patty like those served at other restaurants! So I have been a customer of Village Inn for many, many years and while I generally don't have an issue I did today. The food was great, our server was great. My issue was the host smoking about 10 feet from the door and close enough that we had to walk through it going in AND coming out. It's not very welcoming to have to wade through stinky smoke just to eat there
