we ordered specific pies for a family gathering. when we got there to pick them up the day of the gathering they told us they did not have the pies we ordered and were unable to give us a refund. so we have pies we didn't order amd could not get our money back.
Usually Village Inn has always been our first choice for the perfect breakfast. The last few times have been different for us. The hash browns were the best, always a golden brown and crispy. Now they are barely cooked all the way through. A friend told me you have to ask for them to be cooked extra crispy so I did, they were over cooked then. The pancakes we had today were so thick and dry, just not like they use to be. I am not sure if it’s the cook or what has happened....read full review
The ventilation system is not working correctly, I wouldn’t go if you have breathing issues or are sensitive to smoke from burning food. The smoke from the kitchen caused me to have an asthma attack and the employees are aware of issue and complained about their eyes burning during the shift from it. I was told the ventilation systems works at less than 50% and corporate was aware of it but refused to fix it. Some of the ceiling tiles are black and appear to be sagging.
