We decided to stop here for dinner and was seated quickly but then everything went downhill from there..We were waiting already 15 minutes for our orders when we heard a big crash of dishes break and we looked at each other and said “I hope that wasn’t our order!!! IT WAS…so after another 10 minutes of waiting for our orders it was getting quite perturbed 😖 when we did receive our food it was mediocre at best…and during this entire fiasco not one staff person or manager offered ANY communication to us about status of order etc and when we went to check out the elderly lady running the register didn’t even see our order in our system!!!!! I expect small glitches sometimes but this was absolutely ridiculous and totally unacceptable and we were offered NO APOLOGIES FROM ANYONE!! at the very least a discount of some kind would have been quite frankly a common sense idea!!??
My breakfast food was very tasty. The bacon was perfectly crisped. The food temperature was ideal. My waitress was very attentive, efficient & pleasant to talk to.
Nice laid back place to relax your mind, and enjoy a wholesome meal close to home. I usually come here with my son and enjoy a father and son outing here. Most of the time Jenny is usually our server when we come. Through the years of coming to this location, Jenny always greeted us when we came if she was working. She made us feel like family and not just a customer. She has always told my son how much he's grown since her very first time seeing him 5 years ago. As far as the food my son is in love with the grilled cheese and fries. As well as scrambled eggs and cheese. I usually have the Rio grande skillet with chicken and pancakes 🥞. Those are our go to meals as we have tried a few different menu items but to us the usual is what we normal order. Great service, good food, good atmosphere. Lastly amazing coffee ☕️ if you are.a coffee ☕️ lover like myself. It's more than a restaurant it's a place to spend with family or re connect with old friends. I appreciate Jenny for her kindness all these years .
They were playing vulgar music very loudly in the kitchen. The worker had her thumb in my food when she handed it to me. The men’s bathroom had pee covering the wall next to the urinal and there was a puddle of pee under the urinal. My sister said there is a gaping hole in the wall in the girls bathroom with toilet paper and napkins stuffed in it. I saw our waitress in the kitchen eating biscuits and gravy with her bare hands and when she was cleaning tables she was wringing out the sopping wet dirty towel onto the floor multiple times. The store wasn’t busy but we waited 45 minutes to even get waited on. We also waited an additional 45 minutes to even get our food. This was an overall disgusting, vulgar, horribly nasty experience. I am never coming back and for the love of all things good and true no one ever please come here.
Everytime I go here I’m disappointed. I only went today because it was my son’s favorite. The server didn’t bother to let us know the kids meal wouldn’t be covered because we got the disappointing early dinner. Over charged for hot coco for a kids. I specifically said is didn't want to pay extra for whip cream and was charged 2.50 for chocolate chips on pancakes that cost 4 just insane. The buffalo chicken sandwich tasted good but such a small piece of check for the size of bread. The early dinner means doesn’t state it the size of a kids meal and it’s only 4 more for the regular dinner. She was sat multiple tables back to back and no one helped we had to wait . I’ve never been in any restaurant where someone doesn’t cover the front of the house as we leave there’s a group that had been waiting as all the staff is in the back. Everything did taste good .
I only had the rhubarb pie and coffee but it was amazing.
we ordered specific pies for a family gathering. when we got there to pick them up the day of the gathering they told us they did not have the pies we ordered and were unable to give us a refund. so we have pies we didn't order amd could not get our money back.
Clean as can be. Service is immaculate. The servers are beyond lovely here. I absolutely love coming to eat here. The food is cooked correctly and the portions are beyond generous. Prices are beyond fair even for the economy now. Absolutely blast and everyone is usually pretty quiet here.
The service was wonderful
We went here to celebrate our 8 year anniversary and it just wasnt what I was expecting started great we were sat immediately but after we got our first drinks our waitress walked by 6 times without even as so much as looking or asking if we wanted a refill my fiance ordered a omelet and said no green peppers they put them on there so he had to wait for his order to get redone while I attempted to eat my food I ordered crepes and they weren't crepes more pancake than crepe and I didn't think asking for cheese on my fries meant that yall had to crispy my fries to the point I couldn't eat them them were so hard overall my experience here vs the other villages inns I've tried if I had to rat 1-10 overall I give this a 5

Ordered our meals, the chicken fried steak was incredibly small (tea cup plate), & the biscuit looks like a hockey puck. The waitress, as nice as she is, forgot to bring out our drinks. It's not busy at all for being the dinner hour, which makes sense, sadly!
Always consistent.
Have been eating for years and always enjoyed the food and service. Today the service was horrible guess our unlucky day for a horrible waitress
