Food was amazing and service was great. I tried the Chicken with mole sauce and it was the best I have tried.
My favorite restaurant around town fresh food...good service I recommend 100%
The food is delicious and you can tell it was made with love
The food was ready quick and Tasted great love the homemade tortillas
We look forward to dining at El Rio, the proprietor is as warm as the Mexican sun and pleasant to all her guests. She ensures the perfection of each entree and item and makes the most wicked margaritas to be enjoyed in Illinois. The food is outstanding for its simple, healthy and authentic ingredients that taste precisely as they would in Mexico. Simply the best Mexican food I have ever had.
Food was trash I ordered a chicken burrito it was filled with bones. I specifically asked for no beans and rice so I’m guessing to make it look fuller it was stuffed with cheese , lettuce and cilantro the meat was dry and flavorless. I was offered a refund I was totally offended that a chef would make and sell this as authentic Mexican food.
I’m from Cali and this food is good rice has good flavor good refris and really good carne asada burritos cheeers
Zero flavor steak burrito had tons of grissle and fat in it. Took a long time to get sub par food!!!!!
The roasted chicken with rice and onions are good. Friday Specials are on spot for "real" Mexican food.
Ordered a steak burrito and 2 steak tacos and some onions (cebollitas) for lunch. Lady taking my order kind of rude as I mispronounced cebollitas, sorry, I'm a gringo. That's fune, but the burrito was so greasy, couldn't hold the burrito, it fell apart. Tried eating with a fork, but just couldn't. The steak tacos weren't bad, which I find weird. Tried again the next week, walked in with wife and son, they had to know we were there as a bell rings when door is opened, but no one came out, walked out of restaurant. Try Cielito Lindo Authentic Mexican Food literally acriss the street. Not only a million times better, but one of the best Mexican restaurants I've ever been to. Would give this place 0 stars if I could.
