I found this place purely by mistake. It far surpassed any preconceptions I might have had. The service was excellent. The food was great. Across the board. I would say the food was slightly under seasoned but I think that's actually a good thing. You can always add but you can't take away and too many of these places have food that's overseasoned and overcooked. Portions were perfect for me. I went with my brother and he loved his catfish dinner.. I had the neck bones dinner. It was overall excellent across the board. They had dates posted with special dinner events which I'm going to give a try. Good down home cooking.

My wife and I enjoyed our Sweetest Day brunch. We went with friends. The food and service was amazing we were pampered the whole time. The DJ had us moving and grooving the whole time. We loved the family atmosphere and will be going back. Thanks Mary for an awesome Sweetest Day brunch. Loni & Ali

I got the salmon croquettes and my friend got the liver and onions. I got mac and cheese and greens and she got mac and cheese and mashed potatoes. The food was amazing, like I was back home with my family in Tennessee! The service was fabulous! From the waitress to the chef to the family members that came to the table and checked on us, it was a wonderful experience! We will be back! Thanks so much!! I pray God blesses this family restaurant with years of great business and success!!

The food was great! The catfish and greens were delicious. They were out of the desert that I wanted I believe banana pudding. The owner was really nice and they make you feel welcome I stoped by and just ate inside. I will have to make a trip back soon to try something new.

Went in to get some food and was greeted by a snotty lady asking how my I help you B4 I could say anything she asked again how many I help you. I'm like man can I open my mouth. We closed she harshly said as I was speaking. I'm like I dodged a bullet. If your attitude is that bad maybe this isn't the field for you

A friend told me about how good the food was and she wasn't lying. I got the fried ΒΌ chicken dinner with sweet potatoes , rice and gravy, and a sweet tea.
The chicken was season and breaded perfectly and remindedme of chicked in the south. The sweet potatoes had that home cook taste like at grandma's on Thanksgiving. The rice and gravy and the corn cake taste just like I was back in Arkansas and the sweet tea was the topping. I could of drank a gallon of it.

I've been here 3 times and each visit has me enjoying the family atmosphere, and not just owner family and wait staff. The dining experience is pleasant, the owner greets and has conversations with you not just hello and goodbye, but genuinely wants to know how your dining experience and how you're enjoying your food...even asking for your honest thoughts on improvements. So, here we go...honestly. My 1st visit Lydia's doughnuts a must have British Bake off get ready she's coming. The food runs out fast so don't try to slide in near closing you'll miss some of those sides. My 2nd visit food was good not heavily seasoned, but I didn't really care for the peach cobbler, but the ice cream was good, I believe the chef said she was trying something new. Today Father's Day 3rd visit and it was crowded they were having a buffet and their was music DJ, something new just added I believe 3rd buffet ...1 once a month. I didn't have the buffet I was at end at 3p and decided to wait for regular dining. The owner chatted with us, it was like we were old friends meeting again. The dining experience was nice, restaurant clean, wait staff attentive and friendly, a nice family environment. The food was hot and filling but not heavily seasoned. But give me hot food and I can work with the rest. I had the smothered pork chops with gravy, 2 extra chicken wings, sides mac n cheese and greens. I thought I was going to get dessert, but I guess I'll have to come back for that. Will I come back, yes I will.

We found this amazing place by a simple google check and went with the best reviewed while in the area-and were in no way disappointed. Le'ah was the sweetest waitress, other staff checked on us as well with the best personalities and the food was beyond delicious. We both had the smothered pork chops (YUM), but I highly recommend the Mac and cheese, sweet potatoes and cream corn!
