What can I say!? The food was fantastic! The service was even more fantastic! Beautiful tables, great jazz music, clean, and atmosphere calming. We decided instead of buying Valentine gifts we are going to support black businesses instead. I must say the food and peach cobbler was off the chain. I had greens, spaghetti, sweet potatoes, with the HOT WATER cornbread. Bruce had smothered pork chops, rice and green beans. I found myself eating off his plate. The meat was so tender...
First time diner!! Food was fresh, hot and, delicious 😋 we will be back! The staff was very nice. Told us about the forming of the restaurant. The cook came out and talked with us! It was a very pleasant surprise to find this gen in Monee, Il!!!
My husband and I came out in this cold for a late lunch. The food was delicious. I had the fried catfish with green and spaghetti and Vince had fried chicken, sweet potato and Mac n cheese. Brenda was our server and took good care of us. We will definitely go back.
