Been wanting to try this restaurant as owners are second business owners in Monee - need to support local! Had heard good things and GrannyMa's didn't disappoint! Outstanding catfish, mac and cheese, creamed corn and cornbread cake. I even downed both cups of hot sauce they provided in my take out order and I can barely see to write this review it was so hot (and good). Should've taken a pic of the food and great packaging job they did for my order but I was too...
The food was REALLY good. Everything tastes homemade. The cornbread took me back to my childhood. Season the fish a wee bit more and be a little more generous with the sides is all I ask. Overall though, everything was good. I will definitely return.
Kid-friendliness: The kids there are so respectful and do a amazing job as a waitress, I didn't expect that and it was a beautiful experience and when I came back and brought my son they bonded well and still was able to do the job! You all are teaching them well
