I've never had a bad experience here. The food quality is always consistent. Great for lunch and dinner.

Food was great, I had the chicken parmesian. Fresh breaded chicken and a healthy portion of pasta. Pasta sauce was perfectly matched with the meal. You get a side salad or soup with your dinner, it was tastefully presented; it had plenty of vegetables along with a mix of greens. You had a choice of soup, too. My group said the tomato bisque was delicious. My recommendation is that you don't come in with cash, credit card is fine. Service was ok, prompt, but lacking something I couldn't pinpoint. Overall rating not too bad.

My wife and I dined here Saturday night. We thought the food was very good. Began with a French Brie Bruschetta which was delicious. Our entrees included the Jumbo Seared Scallops with Spinach risotto and the Creamy Cajun Shrimp pasta. Both were very delicious even though the risotto was a tad too soft. Our server was personable and professional. We hope more people become aware of Labas Latte and Vino. We highly recommend it.

As a repeat customer, on Valentine's Day, this was my worst experience ever. The waitress sent our food back to the kitchen twice having never brought it to our table. Her comment "The lobster didn't stand upright". The meal was cold, lobster, steak, potatoes, and asparagus. The waitress blamed it on the cook, no it was her. My wife had planned to come to Labas since last year, only to have cold food. What made this experience worse was that she didn't even offer us dessert. Just the bill. What girl on Valentine's Day doesn't like dessert? To add additional hurt, she put a 20% tip on our meal without asking. If there was a sign posted, I didn't see it but that's not the point.I was polite and shared my disappointment with the waitress and it was as if she didn't care and blamed it on the cook.If she said, I'll remake the meal, I would be good with that and would have waited. If she said, we'll comp your meal, comp your dessert, of presented a coupon to bring us back in again to make up for it; I would have been good with that. To do nothing, no expression...I'm Not Coming Back.Having owned a business, Customer Experience matters. So I called to speak with the owner a few days later, the same waitress answered the phone. Lol. I left my number and was told he would call me back. That never happened. The owner I believe was a lady. So take that for what it's worth.Final note. I work hard every day so I can treat my bride with a great night out. At Labas 2/14/24 this did not happen.

First time going there tonight.Great service. Renee was our server. She was very attentive and made sure to check up on us throughout our dinner. The food was very flavorful and delicious. Decent sized portions.Nice clean atmosphere.Menu does change, which I did not know, so I went there wanting to order something that was in their online menu to find out that the menu itself changes.

I went here for my 21st birthday and it was wonderful! I got the Brie bruschetta and calamari for an appetizer, and the scallops for an entree. Everything was delicious :)

I had sent them a message on January 17 asking if my staff and I would need reservations for Valentine’s Day. To which my message was viewed and ignored. They continued to interact with others on social media over the course of time, so I commented at a later date asking, yet again. To which I was ignored for a second time.See, calling isn’t an option as I had throat surgery 4 months ago and lost my voice as a result. I do have to use alternative methods. This lets me know that our business isn’t welcomed. Unfortunately, I will not be attempting to dine there moving forward.

Really wanted to love this place. Atmosphere was great. Everything else, not so much. Server took awhile to initially come by and then was unfriendly and seemed to have an attitude. Never asked if we wanted more drinks. Barely came by at all until of course the check needed to be brought out.Food was not good. Chicken, risotto and shrimp overdone and dry. Steak underdone.I hope it was just an off night because I love to see small businesses flourish but with these prices compared to the quality of service and food, not looking good.

We got a table on a Friday night without reservations, which is always great. The server was attentive and the salad and wine were good.

If this place was downtown Chicago it would be twice the price. This place is a south side gem!
