The food was so over priced and the wait time was really long I bought a salad for 13$ and it wasn’t even that good don’t recommend this place to anyone

Not the best, not the worst vegan options I've seen. Veggies in the pita pictured weren't super fresh, starting to brown. Regardless, I ate everything and was satisfied.

Ordered pie to go, uncomfortable because one employee told another she had not cut the crust correctly or something like that, the other lady said she did but the person getting the pie didn't let it go. Was a bit of an uncomfortable situation and I felt bad for the lady making a wrap. I didn't say anything and the man at the register was lovely but the pie cutter was really not nice to him either. They were not busy as it was around 2pm. I thought about it and called to let them know the crust was hard and that I thought the lady making the wrap was owed an apology. I think I must have gotten the pie cutter on the phone because her resolution was she would call the bakery and let them know (I was under the impression the pies were home made.... I know now they aren't I guess). No, I'm sorry, no I will let the wrap maker lady know, no offer of any positive customer service.

Sandwiches were very good and service was fast despite the place being busy with the lunchtime crowd. Turtle brownie pie for dessert was delicious. Glad we stopped by and we will be back!

Great sandwiches and salads wonderful pies local hometown favorite quirky joint of locals building is bizarre but a good place
We love The Brown Bag. They have a wide variety of food choices and delicious pies. They have added new restrooms downstairs, which is a big plus in my book. This place has been a staple in Monticello, and we hope they are around for many more.
