I called and it was literally done before I got in the car and to the restaurant it was very delicious and affordable for one person I had enough for two meals and I ate way too much of this delicious food they accommodated me by putting the zucchini in my food and also grilled jalapenos it was delicious I would totally recommend this to anyone traveling through this tiny little quaint town

This place is very inconsistent. One day it will be delicious, the salsa will be on point and contain cilantro. The next week nothing will be seasoned and the salsa will contain oregano and be very sweet and not taste like salsa at all. Quite often the dish I order is not prepared as described on the menu - either missing an ingredient or has something that want listed. I’m local to Monticello but I drive a truck all over the country. I stop at Mexican food joints any time I’m stopped somewhere. Las Marias is the best Mexican restaurant in the country as far as I can tell. Great folks, too.
