We love the Chicago Steak Grinder. It never disappoints. Actually everything we have ever ordered had been delicious. If you are ever in Morris, it should be on your list to visit and have some great food.

This place was recommended to me from a coworker who heard about this place from someone else. I had zero expectations when I entered this establishment, but I was pleasantly surprised overall by my dining experience. This place looks like a hole-in-the-wall joint from the outside. Inside is basically no-frills. The food quality few classes above the ambiance it is served in. The portion sizes are good (select th 9" grinder, you'll regret ordering the 4"). On the two occasions I visited this place, I ordered the Chicago Steak Grinder and the BBQ Pork Grinder. Both were great flavour and texture combinations. BONUS: the bread is baked fresh in-house. I only wish there was a consistency in how their grinder was toasted. On my second visit, the BBQ pork grinder was over-toasted. It looked it was neglected or forgotten in the oven. Maybe it was because of the large pizza order they were trying to fulfil for another patron before mine. However, the manager on site was aware and apologetic regarding my wait for my order. I hope on future visits, my grinder will not be forgotten in the oven before its is served!
If you happen to pass through Morris, IL while driving on the interstate, pull over to the exit and detour to this restaurant - it's worth it!

If you’re a sandwich guy try every grinder they have. It was hard for me to do that because once I tried the first sandwich, I went on a one month spree with the same one. Staff is very friendly. I definitely recommend this place to anyone.

This establishment is ran by teenagers, they burnt the food. Two sandwiches one small order of fries and one small order of onion rings and two small drinks $32.02. Sandwich has no toppings on it pretty much just huge piece of burnt bread. Do not recommend!!

I ordered the Tuscan chicken grinder for $8.19 and it was horrible. I was expecting a chicken breast and it was just tiny little pieces of chicken chunks that you get frozen in a bag tasted terrible. I threw it out others were not happy with theirs either way over priced for poor quality food. First and last time ever ate there. And the employees were all young and not friendly whatsoever i’ll never eat there again
