Delicious food. Very friendly servers.Amazing decor and menu!!
Great food, fast service!
This review comes after 4 visits here. Food varies. First visit all was very good n tasty. Other visits became hit n miss on various items. One time pastore was very authentic n then next it was non seasoned n very dry. Same with steak taco. Dissapointing
The food was incredibly dry and bland, it seems the only seasoning they use is salt. This should not be called Mexican food. It was a waste of $50.
Food here is insanely bland. If you’re white, this is the place for you. There’s no seasoning used at all. Very disappointed.
Nice Owners and very good Mexican food!

Slow service food was good
We’ve been to El Jefe a couple times recently and have loved our experience! Great service and excellent food. Try the quesataco!!!
Unfortunately, our visit was pretty terrible. They literally had to have microwaved our entire dinner plate. The microwave sits right on top of the counter and you can clearly tell the food was microwaved. We even saw the older cook use it! There’s a big difference between a grill and a microwave. All three of us had rice in our meals and all three were given luke warm microwaved rice. Our carne asada was old, probably about a week, as you could taste it, and it was flat, tough, and salty - and pre-prepped. We were looking for something a little different but in a good way. This won’t be it. We will not be back. I can microwave food at home for way less than what we paid and get better quality. Quite a shame.
Steak tacos were more gristle and fat than meat. Ground beef tacos were very good, tho.
Oversized portions. Really authentic Mexican food. Tamales, fire. Quesatacos de birria, FIRE. If you haven’t tried them yet, you need to
