Just had a great dinner with my grandkids at Maria's. Great atmosphere and Tina was a very good waitress. I high recommended it.

My husband and I came here for dinner last night (we only get 2 date nights a month) so we were very excited to be out and about and even more excited when we pulled up and saw they weren’t that busy. Walked in and were seated immediately (great), however, after sitting for 20 minutes and watching several servers just chatting it up with the hostess and bartender (again, they weren’t that busy, I counted 4 tables and 3 servers) and we still hadn’t been greeted by anyone at our table. No water. No “sorry I’ll be with you shortly”… not a word. Not an acknowledgement whatsoever. We were stunned. So we decide to leave and as we’re walking out, a waitress with a lip piercing very snidely says “have a great night” knowing fully that we were leaving because we hadn’t even been acknowledged. We ended up go to Channahon to Pesciolino Osteria and had the absolute best service and dinner we could have hoped for. I am very disappointed because we came Maria’s with our kids a couple years ago and had a great experience. Such a let down.

We hosted a birthday party in the banquet room last Sunday. I can’t say enough good things about Maria’s from beginning to end. The service was spectacular, the room was set up perfectly and our guests are still raving about the delicious food! Working with Marilyn was a dream. She made the party I planned in my head a reality! Looking forward to hosting a December event!

Maria’s pizza really is the best pizza I can remember eating. It’s the pizza by which all others I eat is judged by.

Morris is a small town, They don’t know they’re spoiled with the best.

i had seen this place on tiktok and realized that i was close to it! seemed to have good reviews! we did take out, the breadsticks were good but needed more seasoning and was a little over cooked. my partner got the chicken Alfredo, he said it was good but it was under seasoned and had 4 pieces of chicken in it. i had the margarita pizza and it was amazing! other than those 2 little mistakes it was good and will be back!

Wait 20 minutes to be greeted by the waitress. Waited 70 minutes for our food, with a crying baby. Saw 3 other tables get their food, and bill before we got ours. Ended up just asking for our bill, and our food to go. Ruined what was supposed to be a nice first mother’s day dinner:)

We recently had the pleasure of working with Maria’s for our wedding, and we cannot recommend them highly enough! From our first consultation to the final bite, their professionalism and attention to detail were unparalleled.

The tasting was an incredible experience, showcasing their creativity and passion for food. They offered a diverse menu that perfectly accommodated all of our guests’ dietary. On the wedding day, the food was absolutely exquisite—each dish beautifully presented. Our guests are still raving about the beef tenderloin tips and vegetable garden risotto.

The staff was attentive, friendly, and efficient, ensuring everything ran smoothly. Ferdi and Marilyn went above and beyond to create a seamless experience, and their commitment to making our day special was evident.

If you're looking for a caterer who will elevate your event and leave a lasting impression, look no further than Maria’s. We are so grateful for their exceptional service and delicious food—it truly made our wedding unforgettable!

Normally we have a good meal here, but after an incorrect order and burnt food, we were very unhappy. We ordered lasagna and got something else.

The service was great. However the food was not great. Salad was wet. The crab cakes were burned on one side.

We happened upon Maria's while driving home from Chicago, and it had a lot of great reviews. Very clean exterior and classy interior. White tablecloths and very well lit. Our hostess was prompt and polite, and our waitress was attentive and answered our questions. The only issues we had were with a few dishes, and that really takes away from the positive aspects as the main reason to visit a restaurant is for the food. The concept of the fresh bread with olive oil and parm is ingrained in the dining experience, but tonight, the bread was a let down. Very hard and unpleasant. The side salad was served with a small amount of standing water in the bottom of the dish (not sure about you but that is quite unappealing). The firecracker shrimp were awesome. A little heavy of the sauce. But overall 7/10. The kids had the grilled cheese, and it was a huge hit. Cheesy and crispy make for a great sandwich. The lasagna was a solid 7.5/10, probably an 8 on a normal day. The Philly steak sandwich was visually very appealing, but the meat proved inedible. It slightly resembled shoe leather. Our waitress had them make a new sandwich, and the wife went with the chicken sandwich. It was much better.
