Had a bad experience at Naf Naf Grill Brookfield Wisconsin today. Hope #nafnaf folks are listening.
I ordered 2 rice bowls for a take out. Upon reaching home, I realized that the rice was half cooked. I took the bowls back to the store to complain and get a replacement bowl. The interaction with the #nafnaf employees left a lot of room for improvement. They were dismissive at first and later simply disinterested in solving the problem.
The team lead refused to acknowledge that the rice was uncooked. It was my word against his since he had "followed the protocol while making the rice". He was not willing to taste the rice and kept saying that this had never happened before.
He was not ready to reimburse for the bowl because I had eaten a spoonful. He did not agree to give me a replacement bowl. He reimbursed for another bowl which had not been eaten. He offered to give me extra rice for free but did not agree to give me the full bowl (I wanted it exactly the same as the one i had ordered). I don't understand how this offer of extra rice made any sense.
#NafNafGrill Bad experience. I have been a big fan of the restaurant but today was a big downer.

I used to love naf naf grill. Even catered it once for my daughter’s birthday. But not sure what they did with the falafel now, it has no crunch . No texture. It’s like a dough ball . I m so disappointed. Tried twice before writing this review .

It's in a Loves truck stop, so I can't really comment on the atmosphere. It's truck stop-ishy. Customer service was great. I wish you could pre-order online at this location, though. Not having the option is what has prevented me from ordering from there until tonight. I'm not their target audience. I've never tried this type of food before and I won't be again. I'm definitely not a fan. I did really enjoy the hummus and the baklava. Couscous was really good, too, but I had a hard time with everything else. The food has like this bitter aftertaste that I didn't life much. If you like this type of cuisine, I'd say go try it. They were really quick getting my order ready and nice guys working the counter.

I tried something new with Naf Naf. It was good, not fantastic. I'd try it again to try a different combo and sauce. The one I picked was a bit blah. I like a bit more flavor. The baklava was good though.

Best food in Illinois. I usually go there every week and the serving size is great. Lot cheaper than other fancy restaurants. Bonus- you will get a pita bread along with the bowl or plate. Love the spicy hummus there.
