I was able to visit this bbq place once before they moved locations. So when they finally reopened, I had to give them a try. It is a smaller dine in place but doesn't feel crowded. You place your order at the front counter, and food is brought out to you. They have a small and simple menu. Honestly, that's more than okay because everything there tasted fantastic. It is a little bit more on the pricey side but given the cost of everything right now that's understandable. There is a small amount of good places to eat in Morris and even fewer worth spending the extra money on, and this by far is worth every penny. I got the pulled chicken sandwich with a Texas twinkie and my wife got a pull pork sandwich with the potato salad. It was so good I got up and got more food. Round 2 was the smoked ribeye and honestly I could eat that everyday and be happy. Overall this will mostly likely be a new staple in our rotation of places to eat. I hope they continue to grow and stay busy!
I had the pulled pork nachos,Cole slaw and potato salad. Everything tasted delicious. The owner is very friendly and passionate about the food he puts out. Looking forward to trying the brisket and ribs.
We were pleasantly surprised! When we pulled up there was a truck festioned with idiot trump flags and I did not have high hopes. I had a pulled pork sandwich and slaw. The pork was not greasy at all, slaw was delicious and crisp. The bbq sauce was overly sweet and kinda meh which downgraded the rating. Staff was super friendly. My boyfriend had the tips plate with potato salad. Tips were also surprisingly not greasy and very good. Potato salad was a little weird with cheese in it but not bad. Would defnitely visit again next time I’m passing through.

Speaking as someone who journeyed into questionable neighborhoods for excellent BBQ growing up.... Strums BBQ is the most solid BBQ I've ever had. (hood tacos & BBQ just hits different, IYKYK)! If anyone hasn't had it, it's a definite MUST have! We've yet to be disappointed with anything we've ever ordered & it's 1 of the very few places I don't have a "go to" item because he's always switching up the menu and knocking it out the park each and every time! Go early. He sells out of various items on the regular. He's the real deal!

Best place for BBQ ever. My go to is the brisket salad (coleslaw with brisket on top) but I've never had anything bad here. The coleslaw is fantastic, the barn bombs to die for, stuff mushroom with brisket is another favorite, and I just tried their smoked salmon. Prices reasonable and portions are great. I recommend everyone to try it! Oh, and the rib tips are my 4 year Olds favorite!
I would have loved to dine in, take out or get delivery. I called 20 minutes prior to arriving and I was told that you were open. It takes me 35 minutes to drive there, when I arrived there was a sign on the door saying we are closed. That information would have been very helpful when I had called. I might have made different accommodations. But for the lack of customer service that I received when I had placed my call I drove all the way there to find out that I should just turn around and go back home. This will be the last time I will ever frequent this establishment. The menu looked very tasty, but I will never know because I won't be back.

Probably the best BBQ I've had. Absolutely delicious. My favorite is the Brisket hay stack sandwich. We also ordered a smoked turkey for thanksgiving and it was sooo good. Every piece was juicy.
Would love to try this place because pictures of the food look delicious but it’s a bad sign when the place isn’t even open during posted hours. Is this a sign of the quality of service you can expect? Or do they get so few customers they are sporadic with business hours? I may try stopping by sometime but it’s not my job as a consumer to jump through hoops to try getting food at a BBQ place.
