Today I had the soup of the day ~ roasted tomato, bacon & dumplings - EXCELLENT! Broth based and extremely flavorful! Hubby had the Rueben - one of the best he’s ever had! Thick sliced marble rye, nice homemade shredded meat (little to NO fat!) - excellent sandwich!!! Fries are great!!!!
Good, reasonably priced food. Service was a little slow, but they were pretty busy, so it's understandable.

Peeped out this place on the trail end of a cross country road trip. It was Monday night football and my beloved Detroit Lions were on, and the fam had been craving burgers all day. Several reviews said this was the best burger and they were not whistling Dixie. We came in and Toni sat us and immediately put the Lions game on. She is the bomb.com! The only downfall was the RC Cola on tap but you can't win them all. Great food and great service=Happy Family. Oh and Lions up 21-7 at the half! Woot Woot!!!
I've only had two other burgers that good in my life. Just seems like there isn't enough staff. Or the staff that's there doesn't really want to be there? Suuuuupeeer Slooooow Service. SUCH A BUMMER! This place could legit be a cash cow the food is so good.

May have been some of the BEST NACHOS I ever had!!.. service could of been a little better but but I think it was just the one server we had. Because I have heard nothing but good about the service before I went. We are everything and had no left overs because it was all so good!

The food service was very, very slow. The people across from us ordered and ate their food before we got our food, a simple chicken wrap. Only one waitress for the whole restaurant/bar. I will not be coming back to this place again.
If you have 2 hours available to grab a burger for lunch, this is your place. Walked in to one table finishing up, another just sat, and 4 people at the bar. One person to run the bar and waitress, which was very reasonable given the amount of customers, if that one person had the competence and compassion to do so. Waited 10 minutes to be sat and another 30 minutes before our order was taken. While waiting for our order to be taken, another table of 4 walked in. At this point, I was ready to leave money on the table for our drinks and walk out but decided to wait it out. While waiting on our order to be taken, the table of 4 had enough (yes, still waiting) and did just that. We should have followed them. It was more important to her to clean one table, sweep the floors, talk to people at the bar, and clean up the table that just walked out instead of taking our order. We’re now at least 40 minutes in. I set the timer when our order was finally taken. 43 minutes for a burger, 2 wraps, kids chicken strips, and a flatbread. My wrap was not what I ordered. She asked if I wanted another. My response was, no thank you I’m not waiting another 43 minutes. I didn’t touch it, which was obvious, and didn’t take it home but still had to pay for it. I also didn’t argue it because I’m not that type, but her lack of attention and compassion was astounding. At one point she said, I don’t know what it is taking the kitchen so long. Let me be clear. I’m not certain this was a kitchen issue. It definitely wasn’t a short staff issue. This was a gross lack of care for the task at hand: taking care of your customers. The inside is very inviting. I wanted this to be good because there is a lack of options in Morris. You fell extremely short. My suggestion, if you want to succeed, find someone competent and willing to work that can handle 4 bar customers and 3 tables at a time. What you have working today is not the answer. This employee was not overwhelmed. This employee simply did not care. In my 2 hour waste today, I witnessed 9 people that had a very poor experience. Those 9 people will talk about their experience today to everyone they encounter. Your front of the house is severely lacking. You have a lot of potential, but you’ll never experience it with employees like that.

We got there at 2;10. Had to leave by 3. Knew we wouldn't be able to slowly eat but would have our food and nibble before we go. One other table of 2 was in the dining room, but they were finished and had paid and just chatting. By 2:45, the waitress came to check on us for the first time and tell us food would be up soon. I asked her if we could take it to go as we wouldn't have time to eat. We paid, and waited til near 3 to get our food. It was a burger and a Cuban with an empty restaurant. Just some communication would have been nice, I know stuff happens. The burger was ok. The fries were the bomb, and the Cuban had a little kick to it and was amazing. Food alone was reason enough to give them another shot. I am sure it was an off day for the staff. One of our sides, we got the pasta salad and I was disappointed at the small amount. However, it was really good. I didn't mind having a small portion cause it was so tasty.

I assumed something had happened and completely understood. Things happen. Just would have like to be informed. Will not stop us from coming back. The food we had was amazing. I only had a bite of his burger, and it was good, but I want to try another one....but the Cuban is so freaking good, I want another. We will be back for sure, it was just a miscommunication. Typically, a wait isn't a problem.

Excellent food and good service. Both the grilled chicken wrap (substituting Cuban mustard for ranch) and the fish and chips were delicious. And they have one of the best selections of craft beer on draft around.

My family and i tried to go in for a quick bite while we were in Morris. We sat down and ordered food. My wife just had surgery and while sitting was affected by the 80 degree dining room and we decided to take our food to go. I think the staff were offended when i requested this so made my sandwich with no meat. I came back in with the sandwich and requested a refund for only that item and the waitress said no one is authorized to refund money and took my food in the back and added the bacon to my BLT. I know it's no ones fault my wife had surgery but the temperature was uncomfortable for me as well and why it upset anyone we asked for it to go makes little sense. I also know that my money could have been refunded as would have been done in any literally any other restaurant. Im supposed to further trust people that already did something underhanded to my food. How am i supposed to eat it now? Ridiculous treatment.
