The turkey vegetable rice soup was amazing. Classic BLT tasted just how you remembered service was kind and quick. What more could you ask for a classic diner?

Had lunch there on Sunday, didn't want a bar, and Weits Cafe was pleasant surprise. We both had hot beef sandwiches, and they were one of the best I ever had.

Went for breakfast. The potato pancake was fantastic. The biscuits and gravy sauce was amazing. One of the best breakfasts I have had in a long time.

Unable to provide poached or hard boiled eggs... the kitchen staff didn't know how to make them?

I came to Weits Cafe early morning on Saturday 9-7-24 for breakfast. I entered the Cafe after a 15 mile bicycle ride and briefly waited to seated. I was greeted by the waitress asking me if there was something I needed. Her awkward question caught me off guard thinking I was going to be approached by her saying good morning, welcome to Weits Cafe. I am not quite sure if my bicycle attire gave her the impression that I was either homeless or not dressed to their dress code. It was the most unorthodox way to be greeted as a customer.
WOW!!!!

We Went to try their breakfast. Ordered our food and watched the waitress cough in her hands and then continue to touch the food. That is absolutely disgusting and disturbing she didn’t even try to wash her hands. Costumer before us gave us the wide eye said this food was horrible and good luck Therefore we left and will not be coming back.

Great food and people. Small place but comfortable and a nice home cooked meal.

Stopped in for lunch and our sandwiches were so bland and dry, couldn't eat it without drinking water after each bite. Maybe breakfast is better. They also charge extra if you don't pay with cash.

Weits Cafe has been the go-to breakfast sandwich destination in Morris since the post-Spanish American War era. Many of the 2 star comments left below are from people who are, well privileged to expect 2 pieces of breas and toasted breas at that. Ever hear of an open faced sandwich? Weits uses the best quality bacon from the slipperiest swine in the county. 5 stars only because I can’t give a sixth!

Food wasn't great. We each had dinner platters; corned beef, spaghetti, chx parm. Menu is diverse, perhaps too much so. Service was decent not extraordinary.

The loaded potato soup was amazing. The service was proficient, and friendly; the atmosphere was diner style local nostalgic. Definitely recommend ?.
