Diamond in the rough. Super fresh seafood and vegetables. Our server Kevin was outstanding, he explained how each dish was unique and the various spice levels.Korean homestyle cooking at its finest and would totally recommend the place!!

I usually don't write reviews but.. Hands down the best korean seafood I had in years! So much food for the price. The owner is very kind, and all of the side dishes are really delicious. Definitely coming back!

We wanted a seafood lunch and found this place close to home. I liked how they didn't have a huge menu. We got the seafood hotpot and beef bolgogi. Prior to our meal 6 types of banchan (side dishes) was given, they were delicious. The seafood hotpot was for 2, but it was plenty and loaded with Seafood, with the bolgogi we could have had 2 more people share the delicious meal. Staff was friendly and he gave my nephew his first ever banana milk. Happy to have found this restaurant and will return.

Badaya is a phenomenal restaurant. I have ordered lunch for carry-out on a few occasions. VERY friendly and helpful service. The Soon Tofu soup is delicious and perfect for those Chicago winters. The bibimbap is also very yummy. Portions are very generous, and comes with all the fixings. Bonus points for neat packaging.

I ordered a kimchi pancake and pork belly bbq. I believe it is the vest korean food in Dempster street!

Visited weeks ago when they opened for dinning was offered. We ordered spicy seafood. It was worse spicy seafood ever. And also the price was so expensive. Tasteless place. Service was ok. Never want to go back.

I don't like making kimchi jjigae at home so I always order it from restaurants - hands down one of the best kimchi jjigae I've had. Not too salty and a generous amount of kimchi and pork. Also, they give you a lot of good ban chan. Service for togo was good too! Will order again

Visited this place recently asked them to recommend and was recommended to try pollack roe jim and bulgogi, was too spicy and meat was overcooked plus it took them a long time to prepare though they didn't have much orders that time. Waited for 50 minutes and wasn't satisfied with the food. The wait would be compensated if food met the basic expectations but it failed, I guess they need to change their chef, It was my first time there so i can't say about other dishes on the menu but i think i would't recommend this place

This was my first time here! My friend brought me, saying she always comes at least once a month. I was amazed at the service of the workers. Everyone was so friendly and serving us with smiles and enthusiasm. The food was absolutely mesmerizing. We ordered a huge platter or seafood with vegetables and hot sauce. The side dishes were delicious too! I would recommend this place for going with at least a group of 4!
