First time at Burt’s place and I would go back. Our pizza was good but I think we did too many toppings and I think next time I would go simple with pepperoni, onions and jalapeños. The fried pickles were good.

I finally tried this hidden gem of a pizza place and I'm so glad I did! The pizza here is absolutely incredible. The sauce is perfectly seasoned, with a rich, tangy flavor that complements the caramelized crust beautifully. It's clear that they take pride in their ingredients and preparation.
If you're a pizza lover, you absolutely must try this place. You won't be disappointed!

Seating both inoors and outside are excellent. Street parking was also easy to find and plentiful.

We enjoyed a large mushroom and sausage pizza.

Came into this place with my family 4 days after they opened their location in Lafayette, IN. The place was packed, but the service staff took it in stride. The staff seemed experienced in the industry and provided excellent service. I was impressed with how short the wait was given the amount of customers, the short time they’ve been in operation, and the amount of time it must take to make deep dish pizzas. And the pizza was excellent. Automatically one of the best pizza places in town!

You coming to my city, LAFAYETTE, Indiana, That pizza is good because we already have 30 different pizza joints out here. This is not New York.

Best Chicago deep dish hands down. I love that they offer 1/2 thickness crust.

I went to Pequods pizza, but the place was packed, and the waiting list was an hour long! I put my name in the waiting list and logged for nearby places in the meantime.
I was surprised to find another pizza place within walking distance
We walked right in and were seated outside right away.
We ordered drinks and the fried pickle appetizer. We also ordered the pizza, as we knew it would take a while. Sausage, black olive, and mushrooms
We got our drinks in short order, and the pickle chips came soon after. They were a bit thicker than I was accustomed to, but they tasted very fresh and crispy.
While we waited for the pizza, we drank and talked. The noise level was pretty low, and we were able to talk normally, without raising our voices.
I found the atmosphere to be very relaxed and inviting, and perfect for conversation
The pizza came, and wow!
It was huge and cooked perfectly ?
Most importantly, it was delicious. I think the toppings were a little light, but what was there was nice
Overall I really liked it. They're a bit out of the way, so I don't know if I'll go back anytime soon, but if I'm in the area, I'll definitely trying again!
PS. In the two hour we were there, we never got a notification from Pequods.

Did not like the pizza. Hardly any sauce. Hardly any cheese or topping. Will not go back. We can get much better pizza at other places.

Drove for an 1 just to try this pizza place tucked in the neighborhood of Morton Grove. Ordered XL, half sausage and half spinach. Our mistake was we should've just dined in and ate it fresh from the oven. First bite, oh my it was so good, so flavorful, generous amount of toppings. Not your regular pizza in a box, in fact it doesn't come with one, its paper bag and aluminum foil. So make sure when you do a take out and you have a long drive, you have a designated pizza holder lol. The sausage tasted like its homemade and it probably is. We will be coming back again but next time we will dine in and experience it fresh from the oven. Last thing i want to mention, since its a residential area, its hard to find parking so keep that mind. RIP Anthony Bourdain, took a bite for ya!
