Nice quiet restaurant. I was alone this time and wanted to try a variety of things, as the menu was very affordable. I was also working in the area for a week and wanted leftovers for lunch and dinner. The menu was extensive. Even included Filipino food. I ordered 2 egg rolls, an order of fried pot stickers, an order of crab rangoons, and sesame chicken. Hot tea was included. Boy! Everything was huge. The pot stickers were a little too thick for me and I didn't care for the texture of the meat. The rangoons seemed to be made of the same wrap as the pot stickers, which was too thick. I really enjoyed the flavor. I didn't care for the egg roll. It was too thick and I didn't like the meat. I'm used to the Rangoons and egg rolls made with egg roll wraps (thin ones). I thought the sesame chicken was made with breast meat but it was thigh meat. It was still good. Crispy and a good sauce. There was some broccoli on the plate and a side of steamed rice. There were so many things I wanted to try. . . like egg foo young, Mongolian beef, and so much more. . . Food came out fast and hot!

My first time here. It certainly won't be the last. Great food at a reasonable price.

All the food is excellent. They are very consistent. Probably the best Chinese food in Morton Grove. Can't wait to come back

I have been to this restaurant many times over the years, but I especially enjoy the lunch specials. For around $9, you can choose from a variety of main dishes, accompanied by soup, an optional egg roll for $1, and a fortune cookie. The food is predictably good, relatively fast, and there is never a feeling of being rushed. The service is very good and they don't mind if you ask for some changes (in my case, no mushrooms).

Taste is very good. The way they cook is serious and do not use fake crab stick.

Picked up a delicious meal Thanksgiving night after family illness cancelled the dinner we had been invited to. Service was prompt and friendly, and our Beef with Eggplant, BBQ Pork Fried Rice and Egg Rolls were wonderful. We'd never been, had heard good things, and now we'll be enjoying China Town Restaurant regularly.

My experience with Chinatown was extremely disappointing. Despite confirming my order the day before, they inexplicably canceled it 15 minutes before the scheduled pickup at 11:30 AM, leaving me uninformed and inconvenienced. This lack of integrity in their business operations is unacceptable and has certainly tarnished my perception of the restaurant.

Great food. Don't go for the ambiance, unless you are into a "well seasoned" family owned Chinese restaurant feel.
