I called the restaurant ahead of time to see if my daughter’s allergies could be accommodated. They assured us what we wanted to order (the masala dosa) and what came with it was safe. I even put her allergies in place of a name for the order. After a few bites, she says her throat hurts. So I call again asking if they’re sure nothing contains nuts. Turns out both chutneys contain nuts, one has peanut and one has cashew. We ended up spending the evening in the ER. Unacceptable.

Very disappointed that they could not understand what it means to parcel dahi puri.. you have put everything into the puri that makes it soggy..I called you to specifically tell you not to do that.. please Understand, what happens to your dish after you send it out of your kitchen.. .. I'm so angry right now because it was obviously going to be tasty but you screwed it up despite giving you the instructions..

Does not make any sense that Dosa is a breakfast food but Dosa point doesn’t open until lunch time. I always crave it in the morning but waiting until 12:30 to have it for lunch is a buzz kill. Please consider changing the hours to open at a regular time like 10 am!

Prices have increased for almost everything on the menu by almost $3-5 since my last 4 visits in 2025.

Starting on a good note: Vada was good for the price

The worst thing is with the special veg thali which doesn’t seem special in any way. Not how it was served and neither how it tasted. The curry’s didn’t taste as if they were fresh and definitely not tasty, they served 3 curries excluding daal/lentil curry. The paneer curry was good but just with maybe 2 pieces of paneer. Bhendi and Turayi curry was way below expectations.

Dosa Point serves delicious, authentic South Indian food. The dosas are crispy, chutneys flavorful, and service quick and friendly. Great taste at reasonable prices – highly recommend!

Best dosa place i’ve ever tried! I always get cheese paneer masala dosa and it never disappoints, especially the chutneys. So much flavor and the service is amazing. Much better than any other new Indian restaurants in the area and I have came many times with my family. Absolutely recommend to every person!

We dined in at night and had a great experience. The vada pav and dahi puri are absolute must-tries—flavorful, fresh, and packed with authentic taste. The service was quick, and the atmosphere was relaxed, even during busy hours. Definitely a go-to spot for street food cravings!

This place can either be a hit or a miss. Always a hold when you call to place an order. Charging 12.99 for a dosa that looks like this is bombastic. This was a masala dosa and I was shocked to see this when I got home. There was barely any filling. This was a masala dosa… unfortunately this is the only dosa place near us.

Good for dosa fix. Very authentic but atmosphere and service needs to be elevated. Their tea is very good as well.

My husband and I stopped by for lunch, and walking in was honestly the first red flag. The floor was sticky, the tables were sticky, and everything just felt… neglected. But instead of cleaning any of that, the guy at the counter was laser-focused on us not dropping food on the laminated menu. Like sir, maybe worry less about your plastic menu and more about your floors, tables, and gloves—which, by the way, he never changed.
We ordered two items. First we picked the Uttapam, but we were told it would take exactly 18 minutes (very specific), so we switched to the Idli Wada combo. My dosa came out in 4 minutes, which sounds great until you see it was undercooked and falling apart. Not what you’d expect from a place that’s supposed to specialize in dosa.
Meanwhile, my husband had to wait a whole 20 minutes for just 2 idlis and a wada. When it finally showed up, the wada was hot but dry, bland, and straight-up disappointing. If no one in the kitchen actually knows how to make a proper wada, why even bother putting it on the menu?
But the worst part? The timing. Why on earth would you serve one person’s food and then make the other just sit there staring? It’s not nice. It’s awkward. We didn’t come here to take turns eating.
And The guy at the front was rude, and the woman working there wasn’t any better—cold and snappy for no reason. You can’t just open a restaurant and think that’s enough. You have to actually care about customer service, cleanliness, and how you treat people.

I truly hope the restaurant takes this feedback seriously and makes real improvements in both the quality of their food and the way they treat their customers and maybe discover the magic of soap and water along the way. Because right now, the staff isn’t friendly, the service is off, and the vibe is more ‘why are you here?’ than ‘welcome in.’
