The taste is good

I recently enjoyed another incredible dining experience at Dosa Point, and I can confidently say it was worth the 45 min drive for the third time! The food was exceptional, especially the pav bhaji and dosa, which were bursting with flavor. The service was top-notch, with friendly staff that made us feel right at home. If you're in the mood for delicious Indian cuisine, Dosa Point is a must-visit. Highly recommended!

Drove an hour to go to thiis place because I heard food was good. I grew up in South India and i know what South Indian food is supposed to taste like. Frozen vada and upma, Idli hard as a rock, tasteless sambhar. Only nice thing was bottled thums up and the waiter who gave us good service. Lady owner came later with an attitude like she did us a favor serving high priced low quality tasteless frozen food. Would never return to this place ever again. If you want good South Indian food, then go to devon.

Loved the Masala Dosa and Adrak Chai! Everything was so flavorful and fresh, and the service was friendly and quick. Made an extra stop while traveling, and it turned out to be the best find!

Dosa point is a restaurant with good ambience, service and decent food. Being from India, I have had way better dosas but the dosas here were quite good too. I recommend the Mysore dosa and paneer dosa. The podi idli was fairly okay. Definitely try the rooh afza lassi.

This was probably my 4th visit to this place. We used to love their offerings earlier. I can now confidently say the quality of food has deteriorated substantially over a year's time. We ordered
(1) a south indian combo: the only thing that was tasty was the accompaniment- the sambhar. The dosa's alu masala & upma - both were bland! Zero flavor. And the Idly-Vada were the worst I've ever eaten, including their texture. Couldn't believe they messed that up too! I hated paying $20 for such tasteless plate.
(2) Poori-Alu ki sabzi : the potatoes were not fully cooked, and the masala wasn't well made.
(3) Masala tea - had no masala flavor and can barely be even called a 'tea' due its duff taste.
(4) The nutella-brutella mini pancakes were decent. I'm glad at least there was one okayish thing to have before we left the place.
Looks like they changed their cooking staff. And it seemed like they can't do much about the feedback being given since that's how they now make the dishes.
I would never go back nor recommend this to anyone anymore.

The dosa was good. But the restaurant seems to be run like it's not important. But I'd go back as the food was good and the service was still with a smile.

I went back and the service is still pretty good, but I asked for the TV to be turned off or turned down and the server asked the owner/manager refused. I didn't appreciate that, so I'm dropping a star.

Vegetarian options: Dosas are all vegetarian

Parking: The store is located in a strip mall and parking is shared. The lot is right off a very busy street and it's hard to get in and out of the lot easily. The strip isn't very big and so there are limited parking spots. The majority on the time, one should be able to find parking.

Mysore masala and pav bhaji dosa - decent.
Vada pav - also decent
Sambhar - good

Paneer dosa - probably the worst i have ever had. It is shred paneer, and completely bland.

Chutneys - passable. Bland.

Not upto the mark.

Firstly, what dosa place opens at 12:30????
We still waited and tried to open the door at 12:29 thinking it would be open. It wasn’t. And as we were heading back to the car, the lady from inside comes out and says “we open at 12:30” and we were like “okay we’ll wait another 45 seconds out here.” And then she goes “our chef is not here yet, might take another 20mins or so.” So not only do they open late, their staff is also inadequate and unprofessional. Do not recommend.

We used Dosa Point for a family party in our backyard with a live dosa station. The food and service was amazing! It was a novel idea and well received by everyone. Highly recommend if you're looking for a live vendor!

Dosa point had some amazing vibes. Bollywood songs in the background. Food was served on time . Really liked the pav bhaji the pavs were toasted and the bhaji was buttery and nice. The samosa chat was spicy tangy and really nice. The mango lassi was not that great. Didn’t like at all. The service was great. Prices are reasonable
