We were recommended this restaurant as the most ethentic Mongolian food in the Chicago area. We were not disappointed. The food portions are plentiful enough to share. The mother & daughter are delightful, and make you feel part of a family. We shared 4 large entrees, at a cost of only $56. We were even served complementary hot tea.

Their food is amazing. It’s true mongolian food and a perfect price. Love it. The owner is nice and wonderful. I love the tvusian and huushuur. 😎The chef is nice and good.

Amazing food, Thank you chef! First time to this restaurant, the menu may have a common English translated name but it is a totally different experience.
Atmosphere and service give you a feeling that you are their house guest and it's going to a good home cook meal.
They have two different types of dumplings steamed and fried. Ordered both, both tasted great. For meat lovers like me, go with the steamed.
Stir fry noodles are also special, must try.

Mazalae has authentic Mongolian food made with love. I lived in Mongolian for just over two years and the whole experience at Mazalae made my stomach and my heart happy. All of the food is freshly made and absolutely delicious. We had tsuivan, khuushuur, and baitsatai salat. Even my 2-year-old son enjoyed everything. We will definitely visit again next time we're in the Chicago area!
