Five of us, bill came with a 20% tip added. That's my normal tip however I hate it for them to added on there... Especially the service was sllllooooow! They came a total of five times, one when we order, three time when they drop off food and fifth time when they gave me the bill lolThe small plate, no more refill as we were charged lolFood was average and portion was smallllll lol

Portion of the food was only about half of mormal. Waitresses were rude. They expect high tips without giving fair service. Considering quality of food it's too expensive. I had bad experience a year back and had a bad experience recently. Don't eat here.

Never came again!!!!! Very bad dining experience. Google map shown the closing time was 10 pm, we drove there and they told us the closing time was 9:30. We sat down around 8:40, and ordered everything within 5 minutes. The food came out quickly, and there was a server came and helped us cook the meat on the table, we told her we would like to cook it by ourselves. The server kept saying their closing time was 9:30 multiple times, but the time at that moment was only 8:50 something. We definitely would finish and leave by 9:30. Then she left without saying anything. We were so confused, we didn’t even know if she still wanted to cook by herself or what did she want us to do. And never came back. We cooked it and finished by 9:30. We asked for some togo boxes, she told us the togo box need to charge $1.50 each. And she brought us a check with gratuity 20%. How did they think their services deserve 20% gratuity. If you plan to come, change your plan and go somewhere else. Save your money and your tip deserves a better service.

San Soo Kab San was my favorite restaurant. Always went to another loc. today is a excellent visit. Since I went to many different restaurants. First time hearing that, too go box need to charge me $1.50 each. Terrible service, always told us that they close at 9:30pm. Always remind that when they close. Even only us this one table dining. Only three people dining charge 20% tips with no service. Even turning on the fire for the BBQ, without any notice. Such my first bad review ever.

I am so excited for the the best Korean BBQ here cause I was very like this restaurant. But I wouldn't recommend this place anymore, the service are dreadful, rude unprofessional. They rush us out after we promise we will be quick and they were not providing any box for the rest of food. We have to beg them to get a box or pay out of pocket for have a to go box. I just find out why only one table dining there ( which is us). Even though have all you can eat, any special price, the business still low amount of customers.

Our waitress was very rude. She didn't even let us finish ordering our meat and just walked away. She was very unprofessional and place a raw meat plate on top of our soup that we were still eating. I read the comments before coming here and decided to give it a try regardless of the bad reviews. But I got to say, first time and last time coming here. I wouldn't recommend this place to anymore. The food wasn't that great and you can only order three meat at a time. Extra charge if you want rice and lettecu on the side even though you got all you can eat. Automatic 20% extra charge if you eat all you can eat. They don't come check to see if we need anything else. This was a really bad experience.

We came here for a dish my wife, who is Korean, was looking forward to. I mean after all, it is on their menu. Nope. Not available. The waitress told my wife if she wanted that she should go to a different restaurant or Hmart to get the ingredients to make it herself. No sorry, Nope just go somewhere else. This place is very deceiving, they claim to be a wood charcoal BBQ, and while there are a few pieces of wood in the middle of the table, it is gas making the heat. The food should be much better for what they charge and just a few dishes of bancan is all you get. The worst thing about this place is the service. The servers are slow, rude, and don't seem to care if you get fed or not, probably because of the automatic 20 percent tip they add to the bill. My advice...go somewhere else if you want good food and good service because you will not find either here.

DONT COME TO THIS PLACE UNLESS YOU WANNA TREATED BADLY AND POORLY. DONT WASTE YOUR MONEY ON THIS RESTAURANT. The staffs are so rude. Costumer service was soo bad. Seated right after but took soo long for the food to come( it was not busy) And they gave us a wrong order and we ate without knowing and they forced us to pay for the wrong given food since we ate. The food tasted so bad and portion size was so small. And after the service when we asked for the check they automatically charged tip. We were about to argue for the gratuity tip because we dont wanna pay for treated poorly. THIS PLACE REALLY NEED TO CHECK ON THEIR STAFFS. IF I KNEW I WOULD HAVE CHECK THE REVIEW AND NEVER COME HERE.
You guys are over dramatic ! Service here are fast and good. Do some homework before you come here ! Before I came in I read few reviews and got scared that I might picked the wrong place turn out just fine!!!!We didn't do AYCE because my friend wasn't that hungry. If you want to do the grill you at least have to pick 2 meat. They charge for to-go boxes. $1.50 / per one.Short ribs are bit pricey.Just do some basic homework of k-bbq and this place would just be fine.Ppl who dinner in here are mostly Korean so you can tell is a legit one.

Terrible and disappointing meal. Years ago, this place used to offer the best banchan with their meals. Now it's 6 skimpy mundane side dishes, nothing special. They seem to give larger banchan options to native Koreans and give non-Koreans only basic side dishes. Ironically, I'm native Korean but married to a Caucasian and I feel profiled by their bad service. I had to ask for a customary side dish and the waitress acted like she didn't have it, but then I spoke in Korean and suddenly the dish arrived. I was embarrassed to bring non Korean friends here because of the restaurant's skimpy attitude. I used to be a loyal customer but after two consecutive bad experiences, I refuse to return.

Horrible and dengerous service for health. I actually visitied Chicago branch several times with my husband and I choose that branch even for the family gatherings and I like Chicago branch, so I convinced my family to go Morton grove branch because we live near here now. But, their food was not good as Chicago branch, and the waitresses were awful. One of them used my 2 year old son's chopstick to put raw meat on the stove, unbelievable. What if I did not notice it and my son put that chopstick in his mouth. I cannot imagine it. Never reccommend, even I want to file claim on it. If it continues, it is dangerous for kids' health.
BAD SERVICEWe were seated right away. However, it took them to long to take our order, every time a waitress walked by, they ignored me. And once I finally got to order the lady seemed bothered that she could not understand me and given the body language she had another lady take our order. So as we finally began to order, We were told that both of us had to do the All you can eat, that it had to be both not just one as my husband originally wanted to order fish and i was going to order the all you can eat but again we’re told no! I was also interested in ordering “Spicy rice cake” so i told the lady I wanted an order of that and she literally took the menu from my hand and said “ no.. to much food you eat food then if you want you order? after …. umm okanyways, they brought out the choices of meats we selected and sides at which i’m not sure what a few were and nor did they take the time to explain like other korean bbq restaurants we’ve been to, and the fish my husband ordered was not brought out until we were ready to leave at which was very salty at that. Our bill totaled 122.39 (tip included)Im honestly not sure we even eat 20.00 worth of food, and drove 40 minutes away and back. Bad choice of restaurant ? not so happy tonight.

The food's pretty tasty, the service is subpar. They crank the music up so loud ? we asked several servers to turn down the music ? it was so loud they had a hard time hearing our requests. They said they couldn't turn it down.It was like being in a pop disco club. There were two other sets of couples in the restaurant that where in their 60s or 70s, who I know did not appreciate the ear bleeding volume of the "Barbie song" "life in plastic, so fantastic"We will prepare ourselves to leave if the music is that loud next time!!
