It was the worst Korean place in Illinois. Soon dae was very hard and the rice & Kimchi tasted like it was made a week ago. Soup itself wasn’t good too.
I don’t think I will revisit this place

I went to eat a bowl of sundae soup with a friend, and it was the first time in my life that I had tasted so much sundae soup. The noodles in the sundae are so dry that they don't even taste like food and have a dry feel, and the broth looks like water poured over beef bone powder. Oh, it just doesn't taste good. I recommend that you don't regret it and just buy sundae and pork parts at H Mart and make it yourself.

We order the pork bone soup, beef bone soup and the home made Korean sausage. Pork bone soup is one of my favorite Korean dishes, and it was pretty good here. Very yummy warm and comfortable. And it was our first time to try the Korean sausage which is quite special that there’s noodles in it. I only wish they could offer a smaller portion. Unlike other Korean places, they didn’t offer a lot of choices of side dishes. And the ones we had tasted like over fermented. Still want to come back for the pork bone soup and try other dishes.

If you want to try out Korean authentic cuisine, check thia gem out. Amazing food, hospitality and atmosphere. I instantly fell in love on the first bite. The foods pair perfectly with a bottle of soju. A must go to for all the drinkers out there...

Dwaeji Gukbap is a dish native to Busan and one I didn’t get the chance to try while in Korea. I had been craving it for some time after watching Korean food eating shows showcasing the dish, so I was beyond excited when I found this place! The soup was so delicious, and the meat had a clean taste. We also ordered the gamja tang, and it had a familiar taste like a smoked meat spicy cabbage stew that I used to have as a kid back in Eastern Europe. We also ordered the blood sausage and bossam. The meat was juicy and fresh. They had their own in house dipping sauces/seasonings, and well-seasoned side dishes. Can’t wait to be back when I’m visiting Chicago again!

If the store is closed, please update Google. I checked all the opening times on Google and went there, but they put a piece of paper in front of the door saying it was closed. It took 40 minutes to get there, and I feel really bad that they are doing business so sloppily.

The pork and beef bone soup is sooooo good! The broth is crazy good. The side dishes that came with were all tasty.

The Korean sausage doesn’t taste very good tho which was a shame as I had a high expectation given they specialize in these 2 dishes. It was bad to the point that it ruined the taste of the dish. Very dry and had weird smell&taste.

Koreans often say that Koreans have a lot of affection. America's miji is beautiful rice. Japan uses rice mija. It is a country with a lot of rice. But the price of rice is expensive. So, the amount of rice provided at the beginning is a bit more. I won't feel unfair if I order empty rice. Where did you get such a thin bowl of rice? The rice you throw in is just 2 spoons for me. As someone who has lived in Japan for many years, I have a lot more affection for Japan. There are places in Japan where you get bowls of rice, but there are as many bowls as in Korea. It's not a place where you get paid for the food. If you say "Ogawari Onegaishimatsu", most people just give it to you. Especially the owner of Yeopjeon Deul Restaurant in the US, don't make money by paying for the rice. It's disgusting.
