Ordered chicken strips, they were on tough side. Not sure that's their fault. I find chicken breasts are like this anymore in general. They shouldn't call them tenders then because that's a different piece of meat. They have the best baked beans, but I think almost $3.69 for small side is pricey.

One of the best food experiences I have had in my 64 years of life the best fried chicken I have had in along time I felt Iwas eating my mom who is from the deep south Alabama. The service was great and very friendly 👍 tips top French fries 🍟 as well just a great dinning experience 😋.

Whoa! What a find! Winner winner chicken dinner! Was just traveling through. The livers, mac & cheese, biscuits, mashed potatoes, green beans & baked beans were all great! The crisp on the livers was great. I’ll go back for chicken dinner! Great prices too!

After a long day of swimming in 2 different pools in 2 different cities in complete opposite directions, my sister always raves about Ricks crispy chicken. We called in our order and Fran helped me figure out what was the best deal for what I wanted. It smelled INSANELY GOOD on the drive home. It was at LEAST another 45min to and hour after I got home that I finally got to pick at the chicken and OHHHHHHH MY GOODNESS 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥👏👏👏👏👏❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️ crazy good!! And their house sauce, Amy sauce?, is DELICIOUS 🤤 if you're in the mood for a delicious fried chicken dinner Ricks is where it's at!!!! Fran was wonderful and we are now lifelong customers. I visited on Friday, May 16th. I saw your business on my way to see a doctor in Peoria. I planned to stop on my way back to Princeton. I thought I passed it and I was so disappointed, but then I saw your sign and did a quick U-turn. Let me say this, Popeye's, KFC, and the like do no have anything on Rick's Crispy Chicken!
First, these folks were so friendly! I was given a menu so I could sit down and take my time. After mulling over the menu, I asked if I could have half breast and half thighs for the 8 piece meal. Some places won't allow it, but Rick sure did. He also gave me the soda on the house because it would take 10 minutes to cook as they just opened, and told me he would be happy to refill, just let him know.
Well, upon receiving my food, the lady explained she put the coleslaw in a separate bag so it wouldn't get hot. So thoughtful! She also offered to help me to my car because I use a cane. That's care!
I had about a 50 minute drive before I would be home. The chicken was still hot! And boy, I was happy with everything! The baked beans, coleslaw, biscuits and chicken were fantastic! The serving sizes were plenty, and the size of the chicken pieces were big! It wasn't just a bunch of breading, it was actually chicken! Haha! Everything was so tasty! Perfectly!
Their prices are a bit under what Popeye's charges. For the value of what you you get, plus the amazing service, it is so worth it.
I will definitely be coming back, long drive and all. I have been bragging about you guys to all of my neighbors. I can't wait for the next visit!

We ordered 44 pcs. for a family gathering. Excellent service, price, and product. Very good breading and cooked perfectly. I grew up in Peoria, but live in Nebraska. Next time I come home, I’m getting a Gondola, a Monical’s pizza, and some Rick’s Crispy Chicken.

So. This place was recomended to me and I happen to come a cross an article about this place being the best fried chicken. It's all a lie. Way over priced for the quality. The chicken is bland AF, and smells like the oil it was cooked in, Old and dirty. The fries are half cooked and unsalted. Their version Of popcorn chicken is just a tender cut up for a child. The mac n cheese ?. The biscuits are Identical to the frozen pilbury biscuits. Eating there was like throwing $50 in the trash.
