Consistently the best Barbecue in Mt Vernon. Lizzie is always a great server and the team is always friendly, timely, and helpful.

Barbecue chicken and Nachos are always good too.

Got half rack of ribs and fries.ribs were completely burnt tasted like paper.fries no salt tasted bald.service was good though quality of food was questionable.

It's hard to impress a Memphis resident with non-Memphis BBQ but I have to give Bandana's great marks for delicious BBQ. The location is convenient for travelers ready for dinner and a night's rest, right off the interstate and a short walk from several hotels. The restaurant is clean and well-maintained, service was prompt and attentive, and the food was delicious. I appreciated the availability of smaller-portion selections on the "Budget-Busters" menu - the perfect serving size when you don't want to feel too stuffed on a road trip. The BBQ was tender and flavorful and the sauce was just right, not overwhelming. I had the BBQ beans and fried okra as sides - both excellent. All in all a very good experience after a long day on the road - I'd definitely stop here again next time I am in the area.

We asked at the hotel and they highly recommended Bandana’s BBQ Restaurant. Stating that they catered her son’s wedding. I was skeptical as I am real picky. When we entered we were immediately greeted. Our waitress was very attentive and friendly. The food was ABSOLUTELY DELICIOUS AND PERFECTLY COOKED. I had the brisket melt which was delicious: it was like a brisket grilled cheese. I had coleslaw for my side. I don’t eat just anyone’s coleslaw( very picky, remember ) but I ate every bite! I couldn’t even finish it all. I was so full! My husband had a rib platter: his meal including the sides were delicious !!! I want to give 10 stars. ⭐️ ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Great service and very good BBQ. I had the Budget Buster brisket with fried okra and baked potato. Brisket was very tender. But a tad too salty for me. Potato was good, but could have cooked a little longer.

Our visit was very pleasant. Our food was great and our server was excellent.

Went into Bandana's to grab a quick lunch. I perused the menu, thinking I'd just get a pulled pork sandwich and fries, and that's what I ended up getting. I didn't see the budget-busting platters, which were under $10, and my sandwich cost almost $13. My bad. But the sandwich was good, the pork was soft and moist, and the barbecue sauces—they have about six there on the table—were very good. The service was great. Bandana's is a good place to eat if you're looking for barbecue.

This was across the street from our hotel, so we walked across for dinner. They were very busy. The service was good and the food was good, but don't get the mac and cheese. It was creamy but very bland. We would go back.

We have eaten here many times and never had the issues I experienced tonight. I placed a rather large order for a work event, when I arrived to pick it up, they were just finishing getting everything bagged. Once I got to the gathering and started setting up the food, I noticed they had forgotten half of the meat the meal was supposed to come with. I called and let them know and they asked if I could send someone to pick it up. When the person got there she asked if that was everything and repeated what was supposed to be in the bag, and was told twice that yes, everything was there. When she arrived back to the dinner, we had only received half of what was missing. I called again and asked if I could just get refunded for the missing item and was told they could not do that since there was no manager at the store. I accepted that and asked if I could just pick it up the missing item on my way home, as we had already pushed off letting people eat by half an hour while we waited for the rest of our order. Once I got back to the store to pick up the missing item, the lady had to double check the menu to make sure we were supposed to get what I knew we had paid for. Although we love the food here and the team at our gathering enjoyed their meal, I don't believe I will be ordering large pick up orders from this location again.

I went here 4pm 9/16 stood there 5 mins (please wait to be seated) no one ever came to front there were 2 customers in the whole place , cook in back and 2 server's walk right pass me , said nothing , I m like hello and was ignored. I walked right out... they must not be welcoming for any other race but whites ?‍♀️

Amazing food and service. DJ the daytime bartender was the awesome. next time we work in town we will be coming back. Hotel guests next door get free soda and prices where great I recommend the brisket melt it's like a French dip but way better. As well as I had the wet bandana their signature brisket and pork style sloppy Joe on garlic bread.
