We were seated and waited there 20 minutes. Not one server even acknowledges our presence. It was before dinner rush so there wasn’t even that many people there. Probably will not go back to the restaurant but may order takeout

Normally Cracker Barrel is one of my favorite places to enjoy a good breakfast. However today’s experience has changed my outlook on the restaurant. I came in by myself. It took 15 minutes to even have my waitress greet me to take my order. 2 eggs, sausage, hashbrown casserole. I waited for an hour for my food to arrive and it never did. I was not approached by my waitress to even ask about my order. So I got up and left on an empty stomach. Honestly I felt like a victim of racism. The service was terrible and I will not be returning to any Cracker Barrel. If you’re not white i would take my business elsewhere. I guess my money doesn’t spend the same.

The service was great and the food was incredible

When i got my to go order they did not give me my corn bread or extra serving of ice cream! The bag was sealed with a sticker i knew i should have checked! I wish the tip i left i would have just kept! It’s like i payed them to do a poor job on preparing my order! And i had to walk from the truck stop through the snow and 15 degree temperature to get 3 quarters of my food!

Chicken was dry. My beans was old. Have been setting awhile.

The food wad horrible! I had biscuits n gravy, tasted like flour. Hashbrown casserole tasted like nothing. The sugarplum tea was so sweet we couldn't drink it. Our waitress was fine, but the lady who brought us our food literally threw it on the table quick. This use ti be our favorite restaurant, not anymore!! 👎

Had to ask for a manager 3 times in order to get a gift certificate figured out and he never came to my table or register. Ended up having to pay out of pocket

Less than zero - they served OLD unappetizing food after a 30 minute wait (when there wasn’t a large crowd) and it was disgustingly old and well below USDA safe temperature. Our waitress abandoned us for a large party and a kitchen cook served the disgusting food. Staff is untrained and management has been coached to be confrontational & offer minimal assistance to make things right. One would think that if an establishment puts something its menu they should be able to deliver it consistently well. This Cracker Barrel is unable to deliver any aspect of the experience. It is so far from the Cracker Barrel experience from 1969 to about 2004 that it’s no longer recognizable. And, the price increases have been ridiculous, far exceeding the inflation rate. They should just rename it Bottom of the Barrel and get it over with.

Vegetarian options: The portions size of vegetables has been decreased to the point that I don’t think a vegetarians could get enough healthy calories unless they ordered 2 meals.

We ate at the Mt Vernon Cracker Barrell Friday. Went for the roast beef, only to find they have discontinued it for some reason. Ordered chicken instead and it was overcooked. We have been going here for years. Never any major complaint. Now the portions are very small and prices keep going up. Table was so small there wasn't hardly enough room for our plates.

You had a new server there and he was terrible.I hope you get somebody new.I never had such bad service.Are my life?And I've been all over the country eating a lot of different places.But this kid you had there tonight was terrible
