Wow, stopped here on my way from Louisiana to Indiana. Ordered the Molcajete, it was amazing! The chips and salsa were excellent, the salsa was nice and fresh tasting and not overpowered by cilantro. The service from Fernando was excellent! I will stop here again if I get thru here.

1st time here. Great service. except the server never smiled or said much.Food tast great and large portions. Only complaint is the stake fajitas was tough fatty and grissley. Flavors good but I will do chicken next time. Good chips and salsa. nice atmosphere.

The waiters have no idea how to treat people, they need customer service training, the food has no flavor, the meat was tough and dry. We spent more than 500 dollars and the truth is it was not worth the 45m we drove to get here. BAD EXPERIENCE.

I was shopping in Mount Vernon and we stopped at El Rancherito for lunch. I have lived in Texas for 44 years and my favorite Mexican dish is a Chili Relleno and I judge all Mexican restaurants by their Chili Relleno. I was served not only the worst chili relleno ever but it wasn't really a chili relleno at all. It was a queso with some ground beef and two small pieces of poblano pepper. When I told the manager or guy at the cash register he said if you want a real chili relleno you have to ask for some other dish (forgot the name). I told him I'm from Texas and that was not a chili relleno. He then said yes Texas has very good chili rellenos. We just turned and walked out. I guess if you want coffee you have to ask for milk??? I do not recommend this restaurant if you are looking for authentic Mexican food or sanity. Happy hunting.

Everyone but the person who took my order was awesome. I was charged 15 for fries with a very small serving of sauce for $6 like 3oz condiment cup. I added pico and verde as well. The salsa that came with a large bag of chips was half empty. Overall it was fresh and hot but over priced. I gave a tip and said thank you as I left and she said "umhmm" ? ? I don't know if it bothered her asking for napkins and utensils but ok. I appreciate the hot food regardless. Just not as friendly as she should be.
