Went to fuji tonight i go there regularly and always request denny because i dont care for the other chef. The fact that i was told denny was gonna be the chef and didn't find out til after i ordered that he wasnt the chef when i made it very clear i just wouldn't order if he wasnt the chef so of course this made my visit very unpleasant. I honestly dont think ill be back to fuji they have become way to basic and you pay for a show that you barely get to see. Then they are rude when you make complaints like this is my money i want what i want if im paying for it.
Walked in at 2:45 because the website showed open. Got told they were closed. They need to put it on the website that they are closed and lock the doors if they are closed

Our anniversary dinner was such a lovely experience here. Was really hard to find with a very small sign, but we found it. Ample free parking. Clean. Lots of attention paid to decor. Opted for dining room though the grill experience is available. We had sushi in mind. Welcoming, friendly, attentive staff. Comfy booths. Enjoyed a couple pots of fragrant jasmine tea and hubby enjoyed the warmed house sake. Ordered calamari tempura, but the breading was not tempura style… more what you’d expect on mozzarella sticks- heavy. Sushi was average. Tuna tataki was really nicely done with a seasoning that gave both sweetness and a little heat, served on julienned cucumber. Miso soup was good. Hand rolls were good. Casual atmosphere. Very relaxing and satisfying experience overall. Not sure I will ever be in that area again, but if I am, would one hundred percent return. Plan $25-45 per person and enjoy it all:)

Did not have a great experience. Waitress took forever to come to the table, kinda rude. She didn't write our order down and got it wrong when it was served. Our food was ok, but not as excellent as it should be for sushi. I will not return to this location.

I can't speak to the atmosphere as I did take out, but it looked clean and organized. It's a bit pricey for the portions I thought, but the food was good. Would stop there again.

Came to town to see family and went to eat here. Our waiter was great. He made an origami butterfly for both of my kids, was very attentive, and a very nice guy. Our food was terrible. The vegetables were just steamed veggies and tasted like they came out of a plastic bag. There was not one bit of seasoning or anything on them. The noodles were bone dry like they had been made and were sitting till they needed to be reheated. The fried rice was nothing special. My wife's chicken was awful. It wasn't a real piece of chicken it was 3/8 thick and looked to be made of chicken parts and pressed into a patty. It was cooked and had teriyaki sauce poured over it. The food quality explains why they were empty on a Saturday night.

Closed in the middle of the week? Give me a break!
Great menu selection. We had 4 rolls. Each of them were prepared well and tasted great. Our server was very prompt and polite. We will definitely be back to try other items!!!

The one in Mt Vernon that we dined at on Friday night, 07-05-2024, the cook wasn't real keen about performing and I think our scallops and shrimp was undercooked because we both became very ill afterwards. And no socky was offered to anyone at our table. The steak on the other hand was absolutely delicious as was noodles, rice and veggies.

I ordered some sushi to share with one person while the rest of my group had hibachi. The entertainer was great and hilarious but also very skilled. The sushi tasted amazing and thier salad dressing is great. Would recommend.
