I've never had to make a post like this and I hate to do it. I went tonight and we will not be back after we got eye rolls and overcharged. Not checked on, no refill until i was done eating, my food came out after my friend was almost done eating. We love Joe's. I'm from Effingham and have always loved it. Not this one. We won't be back. I'm sure there are great workers and good food there, but to roll your eyes after they finally came and gave us our bill? Cut us off in mid sentence, talking back with attitide saying one of the servers is her step sister? I don't care who she is. You asked us how it was when your "step sister" couldn't serve her customers and I said it wasn't the best. Keep your business and personal life separate! Sorry for the post, but I wasn't trying to ask for a manager. First time in my life I've not tipped! We wanted to get out asap.

The staff were so welcoming and very friendly. They treated me and spoke to me as if they knew me for years. I highly recommend this location and the food was absolutely fantastic!! Highly recommend

The one in Benson IL is better shimp autofado was runny and thin appetizers where good though and service was kind atmosphere was normal for a pizza restaurant

We were passing through Mt Vernon and my wife found a highly rated “pizza place” off TripAdvisor. Well, Joe’s turned out to be a gem of a restaurant and way more than a pizza place. Absolutely delicious.

Huge salad, Meatball appetizer and Pizza both great! We had a large Joe's Special thin crust cut in squares.
Place has a weird smell and puddles by windows, kinda unsanitary. Thought we found a nice hidden gem pizza place but no, pizza was burnt on top but raw in the middle, and what you do DO NOT GET THOSE $8 breadsticks, they are lower quality than gas station sticks seriously. service wasn't bad but the food was awful and over priced. we left the whole pizza and didn’t take anything to go.

We went there with a party of seven and the one annoying thing is that the food came out piecemeal. By the time the last meal arrived two in our party were done eating. The server was friendly and the food was really good, so that helped make up for the timing of the service.
