Really clean and welcoming environment. Seems very family friendly. Food was piping hot and well portioned. The staff working here were extremely friendly and attentive. Recommend you make this stop instead of the many chain restaurants in the area.

There was a lot of love and heart in this restaurant. The server was sweet as can be. I got the veggie omelet with sourdough toast and taters. This meal was filling and delicious. I swear it kept me fueled for the rest of the day on our journey to Nashville and Chattanooga.

Went for late breakfast. Had biscuits and gravy. The bottom of the biscuits were hard to cut, not sure how fresh they were. The gravy was bland with no sausage at all. When I went to pay with a card, they walk 8 foot away and ask loudly do you want to leave a tip. I find it off putting that everyone in the diner knows if I am tipping and how much.

The service was exceptional from Amber. I wish the burger was bigger. Fries and veggies were fresh...except the tomato. The dishes in the pictures are on a plate. My burger was in a basket. Small stuff. Overall it's a four stars because the service and food quality. The burger was average.

My husband and I visited my brother in Mt Vernon, IL recently and he took us to the Park Place Restaurant for breakfast. Our meals were delicious, the service was excellent, and the wait staff was very friendly. The restaurant is very clean and Is nicely decorated. I highly recommend it!!
