Just had our first dinner there, and it will be our new favorite spot for awhile! The food and service was amazing! The cooks were constantly bringing fresh hot food out while we were there. And we loved the fallen veterans table they have near the front as well!

Some of the best meatloaf and fried chicken in Mount Vernon… they have a full buffet, so there is always something for everyone but be sure to try the Italian beef when it’s offered. Great local restaurant!

The food was hot and tasted great. My personal favorites were the pollack, chicken n dumplings, green beans and desserts. The service was fantastic and they cleared dishes promptly and made sure our drink glasses were never empty. It was a little out of the way but I’m very glad we decided to try it. I highly recommend it for anyone who is in the area.

Delicious all homemade food! This place is in an old school building that has changed hands until it was bought and transformed into a great restaurant buffet, attached to an events hall and staffed with great, friendly people. Take a chance, drive in behind wire fencing and truly be surprised!

I had no idea this restaurant has been there for five years… We would have been through sooner. They have an excellent buffet with choices that change depending on the days. It’s affordable and the quality of food is 100! The owner came out and introduced herself. She does all the cooking and baking. She and her work family are all so very kind and funny. They also have menus you can order from. It’s worth a stop! It’s my new favorite place. Don’t let the looks fool you either. It’s in an old school building. When you walk in they have a numerous collection of wrestling memorabilia and autographs. It was enjoyable especially to see a Brutus Barber Beefcake’s autographed picture and Jake the Snake Roberts.

I met these folks shortly before the place opened. We even moved to Illinois because they treated us so well. Now they make me feel very unconfortable and unwanted. I try my best not to darken their doors anymore. As I stated, the food and the service is great, and I would recommend that you try it if you are ever in the area. I don't believe that I have ever done anything to these people to have them look at me with such disdain. Anyhow, they put on wrestling shows next door. Also very entertaining. You should check it out too!
