After being seated, the waiter was late to our table and then proceeded to tell us about 6 different items that were not available this evening. We later learned there were two desserts that weren't available. The waiter was also slow to clear empty plates and bring the drinks. The food was just average and seem to be a little bit salty across the board. One person in the party ordered a cheeseburger, and when it was brought to the table, it looked like the cheese had sat under heat lamp for several minutes.  It was almost completely melted off of the burger. None of the wait staff or bartenders knew about a wine called “Cabernet”.

Food was excellent and fairly priced. The waitress must have been new and seemed overwhelmed and didn't follow up on basic things like getting silverware and bringing out our to-go order. Manager made it a point to come over and introduce himself as he saw we werent regulars. Otherwise was great and we'll be back.

My wife and I had not been to FourNine in a bit and were really hungry for it, so we went in Sunday night. Unfortunately, they were out of the crab cake/filet special, but I had the pork tenderloin medallions, and they were amazing. I loved the flavor - that might be my new favorite from the dinner menu. The smashed potatoes and green beans were likewise very good. My wife had the blackened snapper special and said it was very good. We had a very nice dinner and will most certainly be back soon for more! This restaurant is a jewel in our community!

Rebecca our server is awesome. The food was absolutely delicious! Salmon and pork chop specials, Rueben, steak sandwiches and as always fried green tomatoes. The noise is kind of annoying-improve the acoustics and it's a 11 out of 10!!!

Foid was good, but service was horrible. Restaurant was maybe 2/3 full. We had to ask to get waited on. We had to ask for our check. After waiting 20 min for that, we had to go to the bar where server was & ask again. Horrible customer service outweighed the good food.

The food was absolutely delicious, if they have it i highly recommend the Italian beef as a Philly cheesesteak! Their smash burgers are some of the best in town! Their wait staff are so friendly and make you feel like your long time friends by the way they take care of you! Shoutout to Ron, Harry and Hermione! The atmosphere gives you the feeling that you can sit there for hours and talk, have drinks and not feel rushed in or out. Their interior is unique and captivating

My first time at The FourNine and I was impressed on all levels. The service level was outstanding. All of the staff were very attentive and polite. The food was fresh and delicious. Drinks were expertly made. A great value for the price.
Fried green tomato appetizer was crispy, hot and flavorful. Four of us dining and we had strawberry salad, Rueben, pork tenderloin sandwich and chicken and waffles. All served together in a timely fashion. Chips accompanied the sandwiches and they were wonderful. Chicken on salad was flavorful and tender. Many other selections on menu we would love to try. Great lunch!

There weren't too many people there and yet our server was slow and was not very attentive. When our food came, my order was incorrect. I ordered nachos with chicken and it came with steak. They did let me keep the order with steak and did finally get my correct order. I realized later that they still charged me the up charge for steak ($8) vs the up charge for chicken ($6)

Tabitha hands down is one of the best servers in the Decatur area!! Very friendly with us the entire time we were there!! It’s been a long time since we’ve had service like that in town! The moment we took our orders we already said she was an amazing server and was bouncing around table to table checking on everyone!! Thank you Tabitha!

We were happy overall but feel that you pay more for a small amount of food. Bigger eaters may not be satisfied with the servings. The food quality and service is very good. Love the decor and overall vibe.
