Los Rancheros Reviews
We used to order the family size takeout meals from here and loved the food. The portions would last a couple of days so it was a great option for busy families.
Unfortunately there started to be hiccups. The orders started missing things. For example, we like the chicken and cheese rice but then wouldn’t have cheese when we got home. Superb food, great service!!! Emmanuel was a great server, attentive, and very polite. Language barrier no issue- we spoke a little Spanish since we are from Texas. We were the only customers, so talked a lot with him and the hostess. The selections were unusual and mouth-watering. My burrito Mexico was so big I had to do a takeout container. We’ve eaten lots of Mexican restaurants and this is one of the best! My brother says is was in the top 3!
Great food but very poor service! Food couldn't be better but the service is bad as it gets. Slow and dont pay any attention.

Los Rancheros in Mount Sterling offers fresh and flavorful food, with friendly service from the staff. The restaurant is known for its vegetarian options, making it an oasis for those with dietary restrictions. It features a margarita bar, kid-friendly menus, and a decent-sized parking lot. The patio provides a perfect spot for dining on beautiful days. Prices are surprisingly fair. Recent reviews mention that the food is decent, with some unique menu items, and that the service is fast and friendly. The margaritas are highly recommended, and the kids' menu includes popular choices like cheese pizza. Some customers noted that the water had an unpleasant taste, and others felt that while the food was okay, it did not meet high expectations compared to other Mexican restaurants. Overall, Los Rancheros remains a good spot for a casual meal with a welcoming atmosphere.
