Went last night for ayc crab legs and was turned away by 5pm 1hr into dinner service because the owner said he couldn't keep up. Always Very short staffed and not well managed. Food is good if ya can get there when they start service at 4 but by 5 they all ready don't too much and they were supposed to be open till 8pm. 3hrs left and they still had regular buffet but was not allowed to that either was told to leave too busy and didn't need anymore customers. Will not go back after owner told me that.Parking: Just don't go

Ate here before when it first opened and the service was decent..but the reason im leaving this review is because of my second visit today (02/08/18).We walked in and there was maybe 5 people seated in the whole restaurant. There we two people out that I could see working and what I assume one or two in the back. We were seated by a nice enough girl and then thown to this other gentleman, whom I even resent calling him that here.We ordered our drinks and they came slow. Then were givin the menus which were actually pretty disgusting to even hold. Thats something I can deal with, but what came next was unforgivable.Nothing.No one even looked up to come take our order even with the clear sight lines. Me and my dad were appauled and walked up to go pay for our drinks and leave.When we got to the counter the male waiter said "Something wrong?". Why yes sir...something is wrong! Duh!Can't speak for everyone, but watch out for the rude, middle aged waiter who should lose his job and showed us nothing but attitude and no apology.Updating 2024:This place is a decent diner but there's still nothing to write home about. The staff quality has improved!

Wonderful country cafe. Great food, great prices and very friendly staff.It was worth the detour off I-64. The buffet looks great but we ordered off the menu.Definitely recommend for lunch or dinner.
Great service! Great food! Not too far off the highway so great place to stop and grab a bite to eat while traveling.

The Bonnie Cafe in Nashville IL is very nice!! They were quick to great is and let us pick our own seats. They have wonderful buffet that my sister and husband enjoyed, and I had the waffle with bacon. Our server went above and beyond to make certain coffee was always warm and we had everything we needed. All the food was delicious. I would highly recommend The Bonnie Cafe for breakfast or lunch. They aren’t open for dinner.

First time there service was outstanding food was good we got there around 11 am buffet was set up and looked good but we came for breakfast and it was great ? staff looked as pleased with work everyone said hello and asked if everything was okay. Very pleased ?

The atmosphere is very basic. However, the food and wait staff made up for that to me. Can't speak for everything on the menu, but the burger I had was straight out of my childhood. Just that simple burger isn't the healthiest, but you will enjoy it as a treat.
