There are not a lot of great places to eat in Nauvoo, so this BBQ was a pleasant surprise! We could smell it while walking around all day and couldn’t wait to try it out. It tasted even better than it smelled! The portions were plenty and even the sides were mouthwateringly good.

We really enjoyed Fireside! It has a very relaxed feel to it. The food was delicious. They didn’t have any pulled pork that night, which my wife was bummed about, but their brisket was phenomenal. It was cut thick, with good tenderness and flavor. The chef/owner was very polite and helped us feel at home. If you’re in Nauvoo, we highly recommend Fireside!

The brisket was outstanding! Fell apart as I was cutting it…didn’t need a knife! (I put too much BBQ sauce on though.) The Funeral Potatoes and Southern Green Beans were delicious as well!
Couldn’t resist the pumpkin chocolate chip cake either!

We are truly BBQ snobs. Fireside BBQ didn’t disappoint. Don't load up on the sauce until you try the meat, it’s full of smokin’ goodness. Turkey is moist and delicious, not an easy task. Don’t miss dessert, I suggest one of every thing available.

The restaurant is so cute! Hands down some of the best brisket I have eaten. Loved the burnt ends, Cole slaw, funeral potatoes, mashed potatoes, and the banana pudding. Loved the OG sandwich, I liked the addition of the pickled onions! Portions were huge!
We dined inside the air-conditioned restraunt. The atmosphere was relaxed and cheerful. Loved the pictures, and country music in the background. So much fun. Thank you for delicious food and a cool place to eat.
