Lock 19 was great to work with. We did a take out order for 57 people and they were communicative the whole time. The food was delicious, just a little different than I expected! I thought the hamburgers and sandwiches would be assembled but just the fixings on the side, but it ended up all being disassembled. So it took longer to eat than I was expecting. Then the loaded fries had shredded cheese with it instead of warm cheese that is at least traditional where I'm from. Overall it was a good experience though! I would recommend them for a catering event again, I would advise you get the details on how it'll come.

We came to Nauvoo for my daughter's wedding. We knew there weren't many places to get a bite to eat in Nauvoo. Have to go beyond city limits for that. We heard about Lock 19 from word of mouth and the rave reviews L19 was getting. So 11 of us went there to enjoy the classic Americana food. Let me tell ya L19 DIDNT DISAPPOINT. Arguably THE BEAT Smash Burger EVER. On a scale of 1 - 10, I give it a 20. ITS THAT GOOD.
Not only that, The Staff was really cool. And the funny signs posted all over were a HOOT! Were definitely coming to L19 again!

What a great place to go for lunch. I enjoyed the Dam burger. I didn't dare set it down, once I started it was a handful to keep together, I didn't want to set it down either. Full of flavor with garlic, cheese, lettuce and the works on It. Very nice place to cool down from the hot day.

I love to eat over at Lock 19. I love The Dam Burger. It is so juicy and flavorful. It's what I always order, because I crave it! I'll switch out between the fries and the onion rings though. Good stuff, see you next time. 😃
The smash burger & fries were great! The service was fast but there are only 3 tables and a long high narrow (12-15”) wide plank of wood against the wall- not comfortable to sit at unless you like to look at a wall and scoop you food directly into your mouth. One table can seat 10-12 and there were 3 seats open at that table and when I asked the person if I could sit at 2 of the open seats he said no because his family was sitting there and yes his child was sitting between 2 of the 3 open seats but he was done eating and could have moved over one seat if he wanted to sit down again (he was done and not sitting). I was a little offended because I don’t mind to sit by people we don’t know. Many of times, we like who we meet and have a good time. We just wanted to be comfortable while we were eating so we quietly picked up our food (we did sit for a few minutes at the plank of wood on the wall- VERY UNCOMFORTABLE) and went to our car and sat in our car to eat our delicious smash burger. Here’s my recommendation- ask for your food to go and stay & eat there if there’s a place to sit at a table but if there’s not a place to sit then go elsewhere or not order your meal there and go to The Red Front restaurant (a block West) - they have a great selection of burgers, ice cream blocks, and plenty of tables to sit & eat!

Stopped in here tonight and so glad we did! The employees were so kind and patient with our whole family ordering. We ended up ordering several of the loaded Hot Damn fries and a Dam hamburger and they were out of this world delicious. The meat is tender and juicy and the sauces were spot on. Half way through the meal the kids were asking if we could come back tomorrow night for dinner.
