This place shows on Google maps that it’s closed. However, we stayed there June 6-10, 2022. They have been closed down for a couple of years and are just starting to open back up. The restaurant is not open. This is a basic rv park with no frills. We were able to book this site by messaging them on FB.The sites are full hookup and pull through. We did have to dig out the lid to the sewer connection with a stick, but it only took about a minute. All sites are grass, no concrete pads. The bathrooms and laundry were unavailable. The owner of the property greeted us when we arrived. SUPER NICE man! He is very knowledgeable about the area both with history and with where to go and what not to miss. Definitely talk to him and ask him about his recommendations! We did everything he recommended and we were not disappointed. The price per night was extremely reasonable, but you need to have cash or Venmo to pay. And the location is amazing! We would definitely stay here again.

Peter's Place is only open during the summer months, but it is a must stop while in Nauvoo. My favorites are the Navajo Tacos, hamburgers and shakes.

One of the worst places I've ever eaten, I waited over a hour for my food and then the food was just terrible

This is a great spot to park your RV while you visit The surrounding area. The owners are down home nice and the restaurant is an amazing little diner that offers tasty Burgers, dogs and an amazing Navajo Taco that fills the whole plate. Shakes are also a high point there. We have stayed here twice and will come back every time we visit Nauvoo.

Good rates. Good parking. All drive through spots. Shower house is not the best

my husband, 4 children ,and i had a wonderful time. we spent two night in a lot across from the restrooms. (they did NOT smell) we were in a tent but opted for the RV sight. we have a large 3 room tent and a small pop-up to play in. i wanted water and elect for my portable air conditioner, and plenty of room to spread out. it was very hot that week and we needed to be able to cool down even in a tent.

The only thing I liked here was the rootbeer float.

Food was great. Small cozy place with inside seating. Air conditioning and clean restrooms. Prices were reasonable at $7.00 per adult meal. Kids meals, icecream and shakes available.

Two words: curly fries!! Not a lot of options in the area but this place is the local dive. If you want dive food come here. We had the Nauvoo burgers, Navajo tacos and the fries, curly and regular. Service was really nice and they make the food as you order but they do a good job getting it out. We were pleased with everything and when your in a mood for dive food come check this place out.

Stopped by on the recommendation of another tourist we met on the street. We were pleasantly surprised! The staff was so fun and pleasant and the food was good. We had hamburgers, chicken tenders, curly fries and sweet corn nuggets and they were all delicious, especially the sweet corn nuggets. The prices were extremely reasonable too.
